Directly go to nearest Jio official store. They will provide new replacement sim, take one id proof with you. Charges are 25rs, don't know weather they have increased it or not.

Customer care told 50 rupees.

And I don't think they will take below 50..

Umbrella man, offers new connection. You need replacement sim, not new number, i think.

dont trust anyone with your documents that 50Rs could cost you even more if misused

Paid Rs 50 in March to get a replacement Jio SIM. Didn't ask for any documents. Just Aadhaar biometrics. Hardly took a few minutes. SIM was activated in 30 minutes or so IIRC though they had mentioned that it would take longer. Messages were blocked for 24 hours though.

Umbrella ☔ man !! 🤣🤣🤣

I remember seeing as on my jio saying - free delivery of sim at doorstep and I don't know if anything changed but aren't sim cards sold for free, one just needs to pay the recharge and give xerox docs of address, etc.
