A lot of people are complaining about VU after sales services
You will not get good after sales service unless you buy sony, lg, samsung. And even in that cost of repair after warranty expiry is insane
How about iffalcon by TCL TVs?
?
Personally I’ve seen many of my friends complaining led tv’s, especially low budget. I recommend buy not less than 15k, not more than 30k. Why investing more money on Tv’s, nobody watch tv now a days, mobile phones everywhere. LED won’t last long many years.
Don’t buy cheaper, don’t buy higher. Buy medium range, get used it. Once life over, buy new.
I never used led tvs, just opinion.
Nokia 40 inch will come
Nokia, Motorola TVs are so of Flipkart’s marq brand only. Flipkart got brand licensing from these brands….
Google it. Don’t take risks on your main TV. Go with Mi.
Thanks to all….40 inch tv is not deliverable to my pin code…will check other options or buy later
If you want branded, you can get Samsung 40 inch for approx 26k less bank discount on one of amazon sales. Though it uses a samsung tizen os it is reasonably priced for a smart branded tv.
My suggestion would be to buy non-smart tv and buy a Chromecast (around 2-3k).
This serves the purpose of casting from multiple apps and also secures your investment in Chromecast, even if tv goes bad you can still use Chromecast on next tv.
I purchased a vu 40” nom smart tv for 17k, running smooth for 3.5 yrs
Never contacted service guys so cant comment on that.
In case you want you can take extended warranty for 2 years at 10% of tv price.
So you should be kind of safe for 3 years provides you get good support during these 3 years.
Since Samsung is selling at low prices now, u can go for that.
Vu panels are usually better than the rest of the normal brand or unbranded TVs.
I can share my recent VU experience here.
Tv stopped working , wasn’t powering on or picking any signal from dth just a black screen.
Called vu cc and they asked for 900 rs visiting charges (LoL)
Even samsung and lg engineers are cheaper to call for visit.
I got it repaired from a local shop for 1800rs working fine now.
Bought the 43" fhd model on aug 2017 for 24k. Now they are coming pretty cheap for 15-16k.
These are good for the price you are paying.
Don’t expect any good after sales support.
You get what you pay for.
Vu is decent enough for budget brand, as you would have to shell out somewhat around 30k for samsung, lg.
There isn’t much difference between vu and mi. Most likely the panels are coming from the same Chinese manufacturers.
It just about who has stricter quality control over sourcing.
have you checked the new Onida Fire TV on Amazon
Finally bought MI 40 4A…with 1K discount….after all best offers are gone, they made it available for my pin code…..Thanks to all.
tcl
Agreed. It’s better to go with the brands you have mentioned.
Mi tv 40 inch exchange karna hai panel broken
Vu is Linux based not Android TV cant comment on quality as have not seen it in person.
Mi is good quality android tv and is probably available at cheapest ever price right now if you have 200 supercoins to redeem extra 1000 off offer.
