Want to Close Credit Cards

ICICI cards can be closed through NetBanking portal, I did that. Don’t know about other banks though.

Most of the cards can be closed by speaking to customer care itself they just want you to pay dues before

Like Standard, Kotak, ICICI, SBI, HSBC can be closed just by calling customer care

Rest banks cant confirm but i expect they can too by calling

For kotak u must call to cc for closing

For sbi u can mail them once and check

You can email them to cancel cards.
Infact I prefer email over call as written communication is must for future proof that card indeed was cancelled.
They can ruin your credit report if not done properly.
Search for “standard chartered credit card cibil complaint” on how they do it.

For sbi login to their card portal and send a message about closing the card they’ll call you and you need to confirm and they’ll close the card

Closing credit cards are not are rocket science, you just have to call customer care of respective cards & tell them you wish to close your card. Furthermore you can also contact them closing your cards on their social media like Twitter, FB.
