Thread will be lengthy please be patient
Before june this year I didn’t had any credit card tried a few times but every time my cc application was rejected fyi i am a self employed individual who runs a shop but don’t file an itr neither my shop is registered thinking of registering it but leave that discussion for some other day. Now coming to this thread till june i only had a basic savings account with sbi than after getting rejected for few cc applications i applied for bajaj finserv insta emi card it got approved but i had to pay around Rs 550 as registration fee but never used it till date, after getting this I applied again for apay icici and flipkart axis in September and i was surprised as both got approved icici gave me a decent limit of 1.3L but axis gave only 15k.
Now i want to increase my credit card portfolio by adding a card of sbi and hdfc as this will cover most of the big sales my current
Cibil =748
Crif =755
Experian =819
As i am not into money rotation and all that stuff so all my spending will be genuine and also i am not a heavy spender but does shop occasionally so i want your suggestions for getting new cards that and life time free as I don’t think i will reach spend based fee waiver so kindly suggest cards which are life time free.
I am thinking of taking hdfc millennia cc, received a call from them that it can be approved via c2c didn’t had my icici statement back then because of some email id mismatch but have the statement now so thinking of getting it in January next year although this card is paid but going through some threads here learnt that it can be converted to ltf by spending 50k in first 90 days
As for sbi i am thinking of simply click but again by reading some threads here learnt that it’s very rare to get a sbi cc which is lft so i will pay 590 for this card as i think i will recover that cost
Do you think i also should have another bank cc apart from these 4
Also as the cards i hold doesn’t give benefits in every situation so can you also suggest any other cc from icici and axis which are ltf to use in bank offers
Only suggest cards which i can apply via c2c as I don’t have itr and salary slips and also best and easy way to get them tia
Please give your suggestions i will be really thankful to you
apply sbi cc via ur icici card which is having 1.3L limit
ankurg2109172 wrote:What are chances of approval without itr and salary slips, also i have heard the cards offered by these nbfc’s are reflected as loans in credit reports and not as credit cards that’s why haven’t applied for any of it till nowTry to take onecard normal metal one
(Without fd one)

Can it be done online or had to apply through agent
rahulsoni0706846 wrote:Can it be done online or had to apply through agent
Both possible
Superdry wrote:Both possible
As i also hold sbi savings account but that doesn’t help me as I applied through yono 2-3 times before but got rejected so talked an agent who lives nearby he told me not apply again for 2-3 months and increase your cibil to 750+ both of these conditions should me met after next month as per me
Also is simply click good or should i target another card

One Card – No documentation. Only issued based on CIBIL. LTF
SBI Simply Click – Waiver of Annual fee after spending 100000 pa.
BPCL SBI – High chance of approval since it is Co branded card. Also waiver after spending 50000 pa. Only drawback is not good reward points. If u need only to use in offer time u can take this. They will also give good limit.
IDFC Cards – LTF. Best rewards than the above 3 cards after spending 20000 pm.Choose to apply one card per month to keep a check on your CIBIL score as well.
Edit : Iam also self employed right now. i dint file itr ever since 2013 (Before that salaried for 8 years)
Is one card a credit card or a credit loan because i have gone through threads here and learnt that onecard/slice/lazycard/unicard and all others are treated as loan accounts in credit reports that’s why haven’t applied for any of it till now

What’s the difference between the reward ratio of bpcl and simply click and are there annual charges same

One card is different and is a credit card issued by the banking partner
All other cards i mentioned are same (Pay later services).
For me till now there is no Enquiry or no Account created in CIBIL for Onecard (Issued by Federal bank in my case) (2 months over now).

Can i choose which will be my bank for one card or it will be a automatic procedure

It depends on ur using pattern and the category which ur using.
Since ur holding Amazon pay ICICI, Simplyclick 10x rewards in amazon is of no use.
In my opinion, both the sbi cards are not much used apart from the offer period and Simplyclick condition specifically mentions 10x ponts will not be apply to offer period txns.
So u have to choose based on spending pattern.
If u can spend 1 Lakh per year u can choose simplyclick (it have milesone rewards of clear trip vouchers) or choose BPCL SBI.
Both cards have 499+gst joining and annual fee.

Try to apply with agent (if he is known to u, then still better) to get high chance of approval. They will enter the details which are more suitable for getting approved. But always be specific with ur card variant in every conversation with them or the verification calls.
Many instances reported by dimers that the agents have applied for different variant to get more commission for that particular variant.

When was ur last enquiry happened in CIBIL?.
If it is more than 1 month u can give a try for one card…

Thanks will keep your advice in mind also if I apply via c2c will in any point of time in process can itr be asked
Get one card .. it’s the easiest to get. Rp is bad but great offers with the card.
I applied RBL Zomato classic edition card also last week from the app and no documents were asked. Plus it’s ltf . Can check the Zomato app for this card.

There is no such option in my Zomato app also someone known told me to stay away from rbl as he holds one of their cards and every month or two some bogus charges are there in his statement

Is sbi icrtc cc on rupay platform any good?
rahulsoni0706846 wrote:Is sbi icrtc cc on rupay platform any good?
There were some offers for Rupay cards coming nowadays..
But keep in mind there is no reversal of Annual fee of 300 + gst.
