At the Ghodbunder road of Thane is Vadavali nursery which collects seeds and prepares saplings of various plants through “shramadan” – they go to forests and green patches to bring the seeds of local species.

@ Punjab – Department of Forests & Wildlife, Chandigarh Administration provides saplings of tree species, shrubs & medicinal plants ‘free of cost’ for plantation in U.T. Chandigarh.
