Want to upgrade my Asus ROG Strix G17

DDR4 and DDR5 ram are not compatible you can't put ddr5 if your laptop has ddr4, please check your exact laptop model and verify.

Asus ROG Strix G17 is launch every year with multiple specification, you need to check exact part number. 

Add another 8gb 3200 MHz RAM. 

Give the exact model number for further help. 

Also, playing games has not much to do with ram & storage unless games are very ram consuming(unlikely for the given examples) or very large in size(again, it depends on how much free space you have on ssd currently).
