Washing Machine- Semi Automatic vs Fully Automatic Top Load
Hi Guys
I have to buy new washing machine and this time planning to go for Top Load instead of Front Load
Please suggest that whether should go for Semi Automatic or Fully Automatic?
Also I have selected 2 models for both variant so if you can help with review-
1) MarQ by Flipkart 6.2 kg Semi Automatic Top Load looks good but flipkart home brand.
2) Onida 6.2 kg Fully Automatic Top Load Grey comes usually at Rs.10,000 during sale.

And Avoid Flipkart Brand, It Sucks Big Time.
Go Brands Like LG, Samsung
Why top instead of front?
Next why semi instead of fully?
Semi is only good if you got maid at home.
Also remember only front load in reasonable price got in built heater. Top load is cheap because no in built heater in lower end models. Front save power with motor working half way by taking clothes to top and using gravity to bring it down. Saves water by 33% instead of front load.
I bought Haier Fully automatic washing machine 2 years back. Still working perfectly fine and is being used heavily. I got it for around Rs 8500 in some sale days. It’s a good option I would say if your budget is tight.

Front load is always better than top load – Less power/water consumption and better washing quality.
Go for IFB/LG
But then maintenance will be high on us to cost. Why? Had IFB Front load and now its drum inner part is damaged that will cost around Rs.6000 so thinking twice because you may get semi for this price or fully auto top near to it…
don’t go for Marq products their after sales service is worst
