but what I feel top load GOOD models will be around 12k (that Onida with good review is around 6.5k) in BBS soo

Always go for front load for gentle+superior wash quality with minimum water and power
For any reason like space/budget/frequent relocation etc then go for top load

I was using whirlpool automatic washing machine. Once in 1.5 years the board is gone and it costs me 4000 to 5000. So, I stopped using automatic and with semi automatic I am having no issues past 5 years. And also the automatic washing machine will use more water than semi automatic. If you are having water scarcity like me, better to go with semi automatic one.
even i had issues with whirlpool had spent around 3.7k on repairs some months back

Why ? Because it uses bldc/dc type of motor. Bldc type of motor can save electricity upto 30% even if it runs at max capacity. Inverter motor mean not only about saving energy it gives you silent, less vibration operations which can give your appliance more life.

If PCB fails don’t blame inverter compressor.
As I said earlier technician are not trained for it yet. You know how companies hire technician. Once inverter model gets popularity I am sure all companies ll give proper training to these technicians.
From March to aug atleast we run ac where we live. So for us it saves very much electricity bill.since we are talking about saving money inverter ac doesn’t require stabilizer so another saving of few bucks.
Inverter ACS used to cost 10k more than non inverter. Now it’s not the case. The difference is hardly( 3-4k) eg carrier brand ACS.(compared the prices of specific models)

I have already told once these things goes mainstream the repair costs ll be significantly less. Brand people hires technician even without proper skills and knowledge. Teaching them about a new technology is another thing.

Simba you seem to be mixing two different appliances when applying the inverter motor concept.
Inverter motor in a washing machine adds no additional value, rather, it becomes useless as it is fixed to the drum. I’m pretty sure that belt driven motors can also be manufactured as BLDC however it is not pocket friendly for manufacturers.

I bought IFB front load in this BBD. As expected Installation guy was more interested for selling stand, ifb cleaning powder etc. Demo was done in just 2-3 minutes. He was selling cleaning powder at 1100rs. For 6 pouches & then I bought same at 400rs. From local shop…

If you stay in a rented house and needs to relocate frequently then go for top load, as they are light in weight. If it’s your permanent house and your budget can slightly go above 20K, then go for front load.
