Bought a 2nd hand split ac, and today got it serviced done and installed.
After the service man left, i observed heavy amount of water started coming out from the indoor unit.
The water is in large quantity just like someone started pissing.

There is some issue with drainage system.

So, do they(service man) uninstall and reinstall it?
Is it repairable, or any heavy charge should be expected??

Update - i called the technician, he visited and found that the drain pipe was collapsed, so he cut and replaced it and everything is fine now.
He charged nothing extra, just charged installation 1200 and cleaning 500.

Had a similar kind of problem and the ac mechanic tilted some degree.

Also had an issue with frequent freezing of ice and the mechanic serviced the board sensor which didn't auto cutoff.

Get it serviced/installed by a good technician.

Drainage pipe is not fitted correctly or choked. Ask the same installer to rectify this mistake and dont hand over more than 250-300 for this small job

I think he has to uninstall it and then reinstall it, whole process from 0 to 100 again. Right?

There should be a blockage in the drain pipe or inside the indoor unit connected to the Outdoor pipe. You can check by putting a bottle of water on the fins and check the water coming out from the drain pipe.

It's an installation mistake, they must correct this without any additional charges.

I concur with what  thundurguy and raman12 are suggesting. Check your drain pipe first. If it's being stored in a bucket ensure water is collecting freely over there. Pipe  should be hanging above bucket and not kept inside else water will flow back to indoor unit when bucket gets full.

Actually it is underwall fitting for drainage, no bucket system.

The issue is it is fully taped and packet, so i think i should call the service man tomorrow to get it rectified.

It is beyond diy.

AC should be tilted 3-4 degree towards right for water slope as drain pipe is on right, check the alignment, has the technician checked the slope by putting water in indoor unit whether it is flowing fine?

He installed using water level indicator and it is not tilted to any direction

water pipe should be straight while coming out from indoor. sometimes there is u shaped bend in the pipe which causes the problem.

Pipe should be going in open and not into bucket already full

Just check plastic pipe inside unit, it is not properly fit or it must be cut by the service person so need to replace. Pipe Cost is appx 75-100, service man charges extra.

Its nothing major problem
