Oyo which got value of 10 billion $ at peaks ..so his founder our daring ritesh aggarwal decided to buy its own company shares at peak just 3 months before that too 10% of whole equity of company, thinking oyo will hit jackpot ..by taking loan from softbank .but as they say , “Saame se pehle aur baghya se jayda kuch naahi milta” ….means u can’t get more than your luck and definite time …..So , after he bought ,suddenly virus thing started playing out and now suddenly company is staring at loss of 5 billion $$….What a luck ya .15x of what he has given in coupons and cashback …that will be about 2000-3000cr only till now …whereas loss to him is almost 3-4billion $ =2,29,04,25,00,000.00 Indian Rupee

That was bound to happen..company is going in the reverse gear..soon it will face similar fate as that of WeWork. Also here Masayoshi Son is the one who will be losing the most..He is the guarantor here..

Also you have to get along with your all stakeholders (hotel partners, customers,employees,vendors,corporates) for the journey to success. Which OYO failed to do so from the beginning.
