I gave up. I couldn’t find any accurate oximeter which is being sold on Amazon at just price. Your only possible bet is going to a reputed medical store, and purchase one from there. Someone on another forum bought one such device from medplus medical shop and he says the same is used in hospitals and all. So go check local stores.

Regarding BP monitors, Omron is the best for automatic digital type, go with the ones which has clinically verified certification. But automatic metres as a whole are not as accurate as Mercury based ones/ aneroid sphygomos. So i went ahead with a stetho and aneroid sphygmo, both from brand called Diamond. I’ll check my mum’s pressure manually now, like a real and proper doctor, while i do that pretty sure I’ll fuck up and my own BP will go high. Lol. Just kidding.

No idea whatsoever about glucometers. I have high sugar btw. Yet i don’t care. If you come to know of reliable ones do let me know.

By the way, have you placed order of the Jockey mask? If not, which one are you using now? How many times I’ve tagged you asking the same you noticed?

BP – Omron
Sugar – AccuChek (one of the best, if not the best)
Pulse Oxymeter – Dr. Trust or any CE certified ones

For Oximeter – Choicemmed or Dr. Trust

Choicemmed was recommended by a doctor friend who himself use it.

Dr. Trust shows themselves as a US brand but it is not so. They have a US address (of a friend/cousin) but it is not sold in US. Choicemmed is sold there. Just check Amazon.COM listings.

Having said that, Dr. Trust makes very good quality products.

Really? No, I have never noticed! The tag system seems to not work for me somehow. I mean it should give a popup saying Ithehappy tagged you, a Chat should come, but nothing happens. And I dont manually click bell icon because there are more than 50 notifications every day.

No, i have not purchased any mask till now. I have surgical masks + 2 N95 lying around (purchased in 2017). I think those will work work. Fingers crossed that their efficacy doesnt reduce in storing last last 3 years.

Ha ha thanks.

So here’s some update regarding the manual method of BP checking. Well, unless you’re extremely patient and focused then just don’t go for it. I’ve been trying the stethoscope for last few days, and the sound that comes from it are really not that prominent or loud enough for a layman like me to easily hear. So you have to hear for the sound yourself rather than the sound coming at you. So, waiting for that exact moment for the systolic around to come, well high chances are there that you might miss it.

The stethoscope i bought was a diamond st 010 or whatever. It could be a dud unit but the sound overall is just plain garbage coming out of it. Hence, just go for automatic ones, like the Omron 7120 or whatever, for the sake of convenience over accuracy. The cheapest clinically approved Omron model should do the job.

I had ordered this, after seeing the reviews.
However, it came very late so had ordered another one, BPL SmartOxy 4, and returned Beurer without opening it
