What happens to flipkart gift card if the item is returned after expiry

This may sound stupid, but I have no experience of flipkart gift card which are nearing expiry. what I have seen from past is that same flipkart gift card is activated with same date of expiry if a product is returned unlike amazon where a new card is issued with new expiry period of 1 year.
I have one flipkart gift card expiring on 29th jan, if I buy a dress and return after 29th, what will happen to card balance, will it be added with extended expiry date or will I not get my money back?

The cardholder may request for revalidation of the expired gift card. Upon receipt of such request the gift card may be revalidated after due verification and maybe subject to additional terms and conditions.
looking for some first hand experience here
It will expire .Buy something which you don’t have to return ..Flipkart is different .they don’t extend gift card validity ..I also bought something last month on gift card which has expiring ..and one product was returned ..but they did not extend validity ..but still 1 day was left after return also ..So , i bought some grocery of that
