What is ChatGPT ??

It's not a search engine, it cannot produce results newer than 2021 and doesn't have logic. It's a language model so it might have read 1+1=2 and it will parrot that very confidently.

This is a good enough debrief.

Sadly it is thus handicapped with similar biases and limitations as that of those who feed it with information or teach it the ethical or moral aspects WHICH SUIT THEM.

In my interactions and as per the answers it gave, it was clear that it could (in its present form) not evolve to be a sentient being.

About 2021 thing - maybe the developers don't want to evolve it as a "Skynet which, I am sure, some "Mojo Jojo" would eventually.

Agree with what @sharpen said here.

ChatGPT is a generative AI tool and not a search engine.

Search engine indexes data and points the user to that data when a query is presented.

Generative AI generates the content by itself depending on the knowledge it has.

As sharpen said, if ChatGPT knowledge base says 5+5 = 20 it will say it's 20. It doesn't have the capability to present factually correct information yet.

It has pre-trained models and acts depending on what the models portray to be correct.

Paji google project lambda and facebook had to shut down their ai program because it went too far and developed its own language. Google nvidia ai movie, ai is making movie nowadays with ai created people. Shit has started.
