What is your favorite go-to liquor?

For me, my go-to used to be Teacher's Highland Cream whisky, but lately I've found myself gravitating towards beers. Other drinks just seem too overpowering in taste for me. My favorite beer at the moment is Carlsberg Elephant. However, I've been thinking about branching out and trying something with around 40% alcohol, like whisky or rum. Any recommendations?

I had a "real" itchy past with these stuff... now left everything completely (3yrs running)... might again go for "only beer" later if I live above 50 years...
Suggestion : Switch to vodka, takes up the taste of whatever you mix it with... and there's not much difference between value and premium brands, will save money too...
Oh, vodka+beer to mix (in place of water)=highly potent stuff... @ZNZ

Don't know your lifestyle or if you're trying to cut down your drinking costs...
Still, if you mix vodka with beer, any beer will do, so shall vodka...
Try with cheapest/value stuff and upgrade if necessary, the final taste will surely suit people who likes and tolerates beer better... Try 1:3 ratio first, then adjust... don't forget to report if you liked it...
Nothing ! plain water or masala tea for me .... beats the kick of any liquor after a hard day of work !
switched to Beer only (that too occasional)...
Becks Ice is my fav now.
I and my friends have recently discovered that 3 bottles of Bro Code beer is enough to bring any average man down.
Before that i used to drink 4 Bacardi+ Cranberry as i don't like the taste of beer n all..
For Whisky, try "Three Monkeys", it is single malt and the best Indian brand I have ever tasted so far, won several awards too..!
absolut vokda with fresh orange juice is too good. Need just a little drink to get down unlike beer
Asahi beer .
Tried Glenfiddich 18 once that was good. But stopped. Still Have 1 bottle of Glenfiddich which i am unable to get rid of.
I don't drink or smoke. But i would like to store a premium alcohol bottle in my shelf and open it when my future son/daughter graduate from his/her college.
Can anyone suggest which alcohol has a long life of 20 to 25 years? And can be stored in original form?

Old monk is rum, it's one of the best rums (some people don't like it cause it's one of the cheapest rum available)
Also you can try jagermeister, but on the rocks only.... No mixers !!! You need to develop a taste for it.....

I thought of trying it but was suspicious about its taste.
I don't like herba-lish tasting liquors.
Previously tried Bombay sapphire gin, that was pretty bad experience, not for my palate.

I don't drink or smoke.
