I own an Airtel Axis Credit Card. Today I received cashback for last month. In message, mobile app and net banking - in all 3 channels they just show I received cashback of Rs 644. But where's the breakup of the cashback?

What if they didn't give cashback for few transactions? I can't know this now.

People started calling everything and anything as "scam". Hope they don't call their neighbours as scam too if a fight breaks.

You've to self calculate all the cashback for a particular statement period.

In my case, I calculated it and the correct cashback is credited to the card.

You can check last month's email statement. They mention the cashback against each transaction.

And why this aggravated "Scam by .." statement. Chill a bit.

for the breakup of cashback see last month statement. they would have mentioned cashback for each transaction & also mentioned that this cashback will be credited in next statement.

Misleading?

Am I going to calculate for 100 transactions? 1 hour of unpaid work?

And what if after calculation it doesn't tally up. How would I know for which transactions they didn't give cashback. It has happened in the oast with many people that the merchant AIRTEL wasn't recognised and they didn't get 25% cashback.

Cashback against each statement isn't mentioned for each transaction in email statement

It's a scam because they can very easily not give cashback for 1 or 2 transactions. Even if they get caught they can say merchant id was not recorded properly. But you can't figure out in 1st place for which transaction you didn't get cashback

Because it is. They are not offering what they promise.

Dikhaane ke kuch aur and khaane ke kuch aur. No where in T&C they mentioned this. I read it thoroughly

Airtel axis card is worst in terms of cashback calculation. Raised issue for cashback not received and axis said airtel will take 90 days to respond. Will stop using this card from jan next year and close in feb.

100 Transactions. - Okay.

Unpaid Work? - You get ~10% cashback.

1 hour. - It will take Max 15 mins if you know how to use Excel.

Calculation doesn't tally up. - Follow up with CC

Happened in past - Right, but not happening since last 2 months.

Sometimes we need to find ways better ways to manage our own finances. It takes a little bit of time but atleast we're clear on what we get.

Screenshot of payment gateway page would also serve as an additional evidence if at all anything gets wrong.

sbi cc, icici apay cc etc doesn’t show rewards breakup so count them as a scam too. Earlier icici apay was showing breakup but since last year they are on the same path. But what they credit is always accurate.

Wohi toh krna hai. That's why I can't be bothered to tally thr cashback myself and waste 1 hr as someone suggested.

And then follow up to the bank if full cashback not credited which will obviously not go anywhere since they don't have a breakup.

Just trying to alert people not to go for cards for niche purpose as I was planning. Better to have 1 or 2 cards only that suit your needs. In my case it's still fine cause I use all 3 airtel services so 300 is guaranteed every month. I use big basket too. I still want another high all transaction card so looking for Axis Ace if I get the chance or maybe Amex card
