Amazon service is actually better then most others in India but sometimes we do come across some weirdest replies from their cc
For eg. When I got 2 kg sugar instead of 3 kg and contacted them to refund 1 kg price, one cc replied since nothing is damaged and everything is fine (1 kg packet missing is fine~) you’re not eligible for refund.. 😅

CC: I’m terribly sorry for the problem, let me look into this.

Me: Sure.

I was like, if this is the world’s most customer-centric company, what do we expect from others?

Some of the ccs are plain weird.. dont know if they’re overworked or just untrained newbies or just doing masti… but atleast not bad like myntra/flipkart.
Also are vodafone cc temporarily fired or something?
Couldn’t connect to a single one, not even through twitter :/

dumbest.. or bestest or such superlatives.. i prefer to avoid.

but there are bitter sweet experiences with all (service providers)

oddly for me, Orange (the cellular company) had a good service experience and so also their CSD/ shoppies.. back in the day.
till they sold the Indian venture to Hutchison Whampoa.

all or most of these Amazon experiences in recent years are with their third party call centres or ever since they started accumulating floating stock of students … even for L3/L4 positions (escalations).

even in India they started giving opportunities in Tier2 cities/towns for CSAs to work from home and obviously hiring standards dropped.

forget them, once a direct L3 level ADCPL employee (escalations kid) wrongly entered my login credentials..
… then went on to ask if any letters are capital (for yahoo gmail addresses🤦🏻‍♂)
and
at another time, again a L3 from HYD itself, tried to taunt me that if your account is from 2013 then you revheck whether you opened it on dot com because Amazon.in was not launched in 2013.

my weirdest experiences are when Kundle or Prime specialists or CSD for marketplace orders are not aware of basic processes or simplest of things or simply bluff.

even searching for Terms and Conditions of offers they know or warranty mechanism.. they crash within two minutes of asking questions.

was it near their shift end timing?
(if taking cimoany drop and pickup) those https://routemat...om or other service prividers of ADCPL simply leave within 14-15 minutes of every shift end time
(employee has to “book” their seat on the route and on the cab number)
if they miss it, they often have to had to wait an hour or more for the next cab/s on the same route.

alsi if their computers freeze or accidently get discon’ed from power switch or some such issue.
then their central servers/European servers log tgem out after certain timeout of inactivity.

maybe something of that sort happened.

but chat agents are usually suboar in general or only rarely the normal, good agents are rotated to take chats.

do not take to heart.

could be anything from simeone not finding the topic interesting to bot using the correct reason or not finding their reason mentioned.

someone was telling that the A.I./bots here assign some ranking points or credits… based on the activity on the deal or topic.

thus, people do points wgoring by posting topics and hoping it gets the fire icon (what’s it called: hotness i think)

there was some hartaal in teh around of my city , so anything i order was though showing one day prime deleivery but never come . so everyday i ask at CC they says to cancel old order and order new one to get it under one day prime deleivery

Seller sent diff color. Order was amazon fulfilled still cc was saying seller will contact you. Later found seller listed diff colors for diff price & sent lowest price item.

Mine..not receiving bill payment cb of 50rs for July month.
1 – I did contact them made a complaint

2- I was told to wait 6 business days

3 – next time ‘we are working on it’

4 – Sorry you’re not eligible for cb since it’s not your first UPI order.

I asked, tell me what was my first order, they replied ’ you had already used in June month.

Wtf I’m taking about July month, how could they relate June month and was told UPI offer is only applicable for one upi payment regardless of Bill, pre-paid.

The irony is I only made two transaction last month – first bill payment, no cb obviously second prepaid recharge, for which I got 50cb.

Finally it’s not worth go through all this shitty replies for 50rs. So gave it up

and the time they take to reply, it’s frustrating, even tortoise would make it faster to say OKAY
