This is my strategy:
My monthly credit card spends ranges from Rs.30k to 40k. More than 90% of my transactions are online.

Ola SBI credit card:
Get 7% cashback up to Rs.500 per month for Ola Money transactions.
I use it every month up to Rs.7200 for booking cab, bus, pay bill etc. whichever comes first.
Also, use for my rare offline transactions just to showoff that card.

Standard Chartered Super Value Titanium:
Use it for fuel if the bill amount is above Rs.750. Get 5% cashback.
Use it for broadband bill payment when no other offer is running & get 5% cashback.

SBI Simply Click:
Use it for transactions through Amazon Pay. Mainly used for Swiggy, Abhibus etc.
Apart from that, use it for second booking from BookMyShow.
Earns 2.5% reward points for the above transactions.
Also, use for other miscellaneous online transactions and get 1.25% rewards.

Amazon ICICI credit card:
Use it only for purchases from Amazon. Get 5% cashback.

To payback the credit card bill,
I use the HDFC Millenia debit card for the first Rs.16,000 and get 2.5% cashback up to Rs.400 for that.
Remaining bill amount I pay with SBI card in blocks of Rs.10000.
For each 10k, I get 100 reward points worth Rs.25.

All the bills are paid through Cred to get Cred coins.

My average profit per month comes at around 3% plus cred coins.
I really wanted to get an Axis Flipkart credit card and a DCB Elite Savings account (Flat 1.6% cashback for debit card transactions). Unfortunately, I didn’t get both.

I don’t know why many dimers get org*sm by posting credit card threads. DD should create a different thread for credit card and bank thing

@dreamist good info. Friend is considering ola sbi card. Btw have you looked at DCB shubh laabh acc,it gives 3500(3.5% interest on 1 lakh)+4800(400/month for swiping your debit card 4 times per month irrespective of amount) so effectively 8.3% on 1 lakh.

Why didn’t you get the DCB elite account? Did they deny or was it something else? I am thinking of applying so let me know.

How did you get the HDFC Millenia Debit card? Is there an annual fee for that, if yes, how much? I have a HDFC max account, so would I qualify for the Millenia card?

Is it possible to get Statement credit from redeeming SBi simply click card points or redemption is only towards vouchers?

DCB subh labh cashback is dependant on AQB maintained. For 4800 cashback, it requires 1L AQB. Not a good option for savings account.

Almost similar to yours:
1. Fuel : SCB Titanium
2. Amazon : Apay icici, unless some other running offer.
3. Flipkart/Myntra : Flipkart Axis, unless some other running offer.
4. Wallet loads : Amex rewards (to achieve the 18K points for 8K Amazon voucher)
5. Electricity Bills : Payzapp (using FK axis) / SCB (5-6%)
6. International Spends (Rarely do.. but still) : HDFC Regalia (low charges on Foreign currency transactions)
7. Railway ticket : IRCTC SBI (No gateway charges and points are very profitable)

All else Flipkart Axis (due to the 1.5% CB)

Lastly will SBI simply click, help in my scenario.. can see it has charges waived off on 1L spends a year. But why take it.. is the 10X rewards that much useful.

Bro, HDFC Millenia Debit card does not give cashback for Cred transactions. No cashback points credited even after waiting for more than 3 months.

Do you get 7% cashback on your Ola SBI Card for OLA money loading transactions?

No wallet loading via CC not charged extra. Sometimes I need to load PayTM/MobiKwik wallets.. at that time loaded money from Amex comes handy.

PayTM wallet is very useful for me.. mainly use it for some payments which is not available using any other methods (broadband, fees, local shops etc..). Also I like PayTm as it has no intermediate step for money transfer to friends, who also uses PayTM.

Are all these cards LTF? If not, how much do you have to spend on each card for fee waiver/reversal or do you pay the annual fees for some cards?

FK axis : ₹500
- 1st year becomes free via FK voucher of ₹500, waived off in 2nd year if you can spend 2L, I would probably reach it as I have some friends who do use the card since I pass them the benefit.

Amazon Icici : ₹0
- This actually gave me money back during signup, most probably ₹750 instead of charging and its LTF.

Amex Rewards :
- It was given as LTF to me few years back, but the profits it has given me is unmeasurable (a bose speaker + 3 times got amazon 8K due to few referrals as well)

SCB Titanium :
- Well somehow this is LTF for me. Still I think on annual 30K spends this is free for all.

IRCTC SBI :
- ₹300 per year, but I do 3 family trips a year and most of the times I earn 2k-3k ₹ per year only for the train bookings, not to mention.. several times my friends use this card to waive off the gateway charges too.. earning me irctc money too

HDFC Regalia : ₹0
- Also Love this card for free bookmyshow movie tickets weekend offer every month.

Because Paytm & mobikwik – both are wallets.
And wallet transactions gives only 1% Cashback in case of Millennia DC. In other HChaddiFC debit cards, there is no reward points or cashback for doing wallet transactions.
