How much salary/income do you guys save each month & what for ?
What should be the minimum number ?
Also where do you then invest it ?

Itne mei toh rent/bills/food bhi cover nhi hoga unless you earn 3-4 lac a month or Sarkaari Naukri

As the topic says, how much percentage of your monthly in hand income do you invest and in what instruments? Rest of money is just kept in your bank account and use it as needed, basically is that your disposable income part?
Do no count amounts you never see in your bank account (PF, VPF etc.).
I will start…
I invest total 70% of my In hand salary. Out of this, most money is in 3-4 mutual funds (Indian and international) and about 15% is for direct share market investment. I do not do any trading, I only invest in share market.
The rest of the 30% stays in my bank account to be used for credit card bill payments, kids school fees and random expenses.
