I would reframe it to either
1. Lockdown without consultation
2. Full lockdown when cases where mere in thousands
3. No pro-active testing/taking benefits of lockfdown
Why I am saying this?
Because with the increase corona cases, I think we need a nationwide mini-lockdown (with proper consulation, I am not an expert here)
Also,
1. Poor Implementation of GST
2. Demonetisation was also the cause
The biggest violators are the member class.. What you are asking is how to fleece the working class even further than now since prices have increased to the point where people are looking to close everything down and live as they were before..
How come you did not ask about removing special privileges on the VIP\s? Because you are one of the millions in this class where they close the roads and have idiots salute as you pass by? If they want a class less society how come there is a class here? I bet the worst violators in corruption and prevention of proper tax collection belong to this class..
Taxes are supposedly a profitable business.. trying to tax more people who dont make much is not the way to be profitable.. The number of people involved in collecting taxes are huge.. So if they have 1 person to collect from 100, that expense should be covered by the collection from the 100.. I dont think someone collecting a 7th pay scale salary is able to do that even now.. Hence trying to collect money from foreign companies and end up looking like fools in foreign courts..
Farming income above 10-15 lakhs should be taxable
income tax should be abolished…it is high time…
govt should add/increase tax for other items to mitigate this
Decrease the salary of MPs MLAs Pm president to
10,000, This amount is sufficient for them to live a life
Sell every government entity, Govt should immediately abolish govt jobs and convert all government jobs to private jobs after making private you can get the same work done at only 20% of actual amount paid as salary , At toll plazas Mps Mlas should be charged double
Corporate tax should be increased to 35%
Hike price of petrol and diesel
Corparates, Rich people are Party fund donors. Present Godi ji govt will take every step to increase tax on poor, middle class and also every step to benefit their party fund donors. If congress did in on 1X scale, bjp is doing on 10x scale
Govt should start Body Organ selling business. Capture the poor and middle class, take out their organs before they die of hunger and sell them MOST PREFERABLY THROUGH THEIR 02 GUJJU MIDDLE MEN, so they also become richest in whole universe not this Earth alone. 😁😁😁😜😁
Aand Bhakts will say , Godi ji ne kiya hoga to Achchha hi kiya hoga. He is giving them Moksha because Godi ji is incarnation of Vishnu Bhagwan.

Previous year Tax collection was 16lakh Cr.
24.2 lakh crore gross tax collections was budgeted in the current financial year.
If all of this money is spent correctly you won’t need extra tax.
No matter how much tax the govt sucks from us. Until the corruption is there. We will get nothing.
A recent case of last week- In my city DM approved 5cr construction work for bus stops so people will stand 5 feet apart.
A blind man can see that installing iron railing in bus stops doesn’t cost 5cr and neither it will stop people from taking bus.
DM would have got 1cr here, all other officers 1cr, Some amount to Babus(clerks) at last contractor received 2CR out of which he took 75% profit.
So here goes my hard earned tax money distributed to all these people pockets. Bless my country

yes only 1.5 crore pay income tax but saying just this doesn’t give the entire picture because everybody pays tax in the form of various different taxes like GST,Excise,customs,cess,VAT,etc. Also income tax contributes only around 25% of the revenue of the government , GST contributes around 28%,Corporate tax 25%,Excise 15%, customs 6%.Also taxes like GST, excise on the products affects the people at the low income range more than those at the upper end.
Also you need to consider the poverty level in India.
According to Oxfam, India’s top 1% of the population now holds 73% of the wealth, while 670 million citizens, comprise the country’s poorest half.
