Tell him not to choose the course beyond his capabilities just for the sake of abroad settlement, because he might suffer in the long run. It’s always good to know the weaknesses better than strengths.

Relatives are PR in Australia no big deal really.

Problem is you and your friend are making it big. Those fellows might come here and say sure you come to us there. On landing be ready for a rude shock of life.

Except own bacholer brother who is a PR don’t rely on anyone else NOT EVEN BLOOD SISTER.
Phupha, Mama, Chacha, and Tau door ki baat.

I have see people suffer ending up being tortured house maids with graduate degrees. Don’t make the mistake just for going abroad.

If you want to settle in life early and get married early and go abroad early – Computer Science
If you want to settle in life very late and get married very late and go abroad very late – Medical

Note:
BTech CSE – 21 years
MBBS + MD – 26 years

Cost :
BTech CSE = 1L to 21L
MBBS+MD = 1C – 1.5C

If there is no money expenses issue, let him study Maths and Science and Chemistry (MPC) in +2, and then send him abroad for further studies.

I would say he should take up some counseling sessions so that he only gets into something which he likes doing or else it will be a nightmare for him in future when he starts working. 10-20 years ago when we youngsters completed our 10th grade things were not so easily accessible because of the Internet.
My personal advise will be not to show him what he can do in Australia but focus more on his personal likes because grass is always greener the other side.
Hope this helps and your child aces everything he wants to do in his life sunglasses

Depends on interest.
However if he/she decides to take medical, he should know that it is very tough to get admission. And after admission it is very stressful and a lot of hardwork. It isn’t as glamourous and pretty as it looks from the outside.
I have many friends who regret taking it up (and they are in the final year!). Not everyone is cut out for it.
Don’t mean to discourage but this is the harsh truth. People choose it as it looks awesome and pays good, but then cannot cope with the actual course.
