Where exactly do you live? If you are in Mumbai, you may try bookmyjunk app and they will pick this up for recycling from your doorstep.

I have availed their service more than twice and they are satisfactory.

Just make sure that you wipe off any data from the devices. Please do not hand it over to your local Raddiwala as it wont be disposed off scientifically.

I agree, thats the reason I am holding it. dont want it to end up somewhere on the open land.

any such service in Pune?

another question, how do you wipe of data?
for my phones I follow below steps:
1. factory reset
2. connect to PC, copy movies till entire storage is full (this is to make sure all memory blocks are overwritten and no one can restore previous personal data)
3. again factory reset

Yes. That’s the same for Tablet & your iPod. For wifi router you will have to login to its UI and chose factory reset.

Both. Even they take large appliances and kitchen appliances too

Better give it to some ngo, there are many who repair the products and give it to school/underprevileged students.

BTW, if it’s in “working” condition and you don’t care about the return/refund value, then simply donate it to your/neighbors maid, or any underprivileged person; they would be glad to take it. Or as @Harish.agarwal mentioned, simply list it in giveaway section and do mention your city, so that anyone who needs it can come and collect it (coz sending via courier and all itself won’t be worth it)

I once shipped wifi repeater to Chennai from hyd it cost me 60rs with DTDC. Some of the product seems useful to me like jmr540 it could be used directly with charger, without battery, can be unlocked to work with all network. Might be trash for u, but treasure for someone else. If u do not mind shipping, u could actually help someone

BTW there’s a “freecycle” groups in Bangalore where people freely donate stuff. I myself have donated books & shoes in the past.
