This topic is generally helpful to all as we are heavy consumers of SALT..

My experience here...

I am a regular consumer of "Annapurna" Iodised Salt...

Since some days i am getting stones which are White in colour....

I have dissolved salt in water and done a check and found heavy stones ...

Have you experienced this anyway??

Does pink salt contains iodine? It's nowhere mentioned on packet. My mother is an thyroid patient, she faced some pain or uneasiness after using this for 1.5 months, so switched to tata salt as usual.images1

I dont think Table salt or pink salt naturally contain Iodine. They are fortified.

there's no doubt pink salt has varied type of minerals in minuscule quantities but everyone should be open to the fact that it doesn't realistically create any meaningful difference(nutrient intake wise) by the amount of pink salt you would consume in day-to-day life.

There are mainly two types of salts used in households. One is big crystal salt which is used to cook all kinds of curry and foods. The other is powdered iodised salt which is used to put over finished foods and fruits when you need it and also for cooking some foods like upma. Pink, black whatever doesn't matter realistically.

If you want to go for healthy salt then go for "Sendha Namak". Its little expensive then regular salt (eg Tata).

Day before yestuurday, used it in buttermilk. But it became too frothy and the foam kept oozing out of the glass.😑‏
