Extensively used Docomo free 3g using proxy trick between 2010 and 2011, great speeds at that time around 7-8Mbps and also used Reliance Smart Free 3G using VPN during almost the same time period. Before Jio, was using BSNL EVDO unlinited internet at 400/month (Plan supposed to give only 64kbps but was getting speed 2.7 Mbps). Right now, my Fiber ISP has 300Mbps plan for 600/Month upto 250GB cap but for some reason, no cap has been imposed since last 4 months so essentially getting 300Mbps unlimited at 600/Month inclusing GST.

Free recharge of rs98 unlimited time 2gb 2g data. Used in 3g dongle for 3g speed. Done more than 100 times. The year was around 2010-11 Reliance Smart. Free data in computer via using Mobile as modem airtel 2007-8. Free recharge via calling 121 in aircel (2009-10) and press 1 for balance inquiry then press back in menu then press 1 cycle repeated (2-10 time) , then they start telling wrong balance in account then press 1. More than 50% change balance get increase by top voucher of rs 10, 20, 30. On rare occasions it give also 100 topup. But this work very less in high balance number. Aircel to aircel free call i don’t remember the trick but i have used it.

2012 There was one specific to BlackBerry not sure what it was but shopkeeper takes around 500 and configures for BlackBerry and was not possible for other handset.

bsnl broadband unlimited 15 days trick continued for years, then BSNL mobile network switch trick , then Airtel, docomo, idea VPN then proxy tricks.. finally stopped using free internet around 2012.. But from past few years my speed was not getting capped on Airtel per day limit.. but hardly used that as most of the time using broadband/fibernet

Back in 2016-17 when Vodafone was charging 149/199 rs for 4gb 4G internet they had a bug… Recharge your number using ussd(main bal)
The recharge got failed but data benefits 4/6GB got credited as Data balance…
