recently switched to ios device. my friend saying that i ll not get backup of google drive as ios detects backup from cloud. now the concern is how to get m old messages (android) to ios? anyone did this, plz help me.

now a days backup is automatically done in cloud. wen u switch the phone automaticall it asks to restore the back up on new device. if not, you need to check for converters as android local backup doesnt support on ios.

These are paid solutions, not sure if there are any free ones that work.
WhatsApp uses Google Drive to backup the content on Android whereas it uses iCloud to backup the content on iOS. So it isn’t feasible to read backup files from one OS to other OS
