WhatsApp is updating its terms and privacy policy.

Key updates include more information about:

🔷 WhatsApp’s service and how we process your data.

▶️ How businesses can use FACEBOOK HOSTED SERVICES to store and manage their WhatsApp chats.

🔴 How we PARTNER WITH FACEBOOK to offer integrations across the Facebook Company Products.

By tapping AGREE, you accept the new terms and privacy policy, which take effect on February 8, 2021. After this date, you’ll need to accept these updates to continue using WhatsApp. You can also visit the Help Center if you would prefer to delete your account and would like more information.

Previously we have seen Facebook breaching users privacy significantly as it has already started tracking every users offline activity as well what apps you use/website you visit and many more things which not every user is awared Aboout.

No use other competitors will also follow all these policies sooner or later if we are using it for free we are products for them and they will eventually sell.

Time has come to accept privacy things doesn’t exist anymore in this digital world.

I’m not sure if any one realized, SMS is dedicated for promotional msgs and occasional/frequent OTPs. Now banks and other services are pushing msgs via whatsapp.
