How much more you want to tax corporates?
Companies allready suffer from double Taxation.
Companies pay tax @ the rate of 22% without claiming exemptions. If you claim exemption then normal tax rate applicable.
When company distribute all ready taxed profit as dividend then on that dividend we pay normal tax rate again which may go up to 35%.
And company need to spend atleast 3% of pre tax profit for csr activity as per company law.
How much more you want to tax company?
Either way salaried middle class suffer.
Corporate tax increase will lead to less salaries
To bring parity with others even salaried should be allowed to pay (advance)tax like business people instead of employers deducting upfront.
Funny part is when for Reservations the creamy layer limit for economically weaker sections (EWS) is 7,50,000 annually, but the I.T. exemption is only till 5 lacs.
Even Govt officially claims that till 7.5 lacs we are economically weak but still wants to tax the middle class in that bracket
Bruh its 8 lakhs for the entire family not for a single individual .
