When did you Opened your 1st Bank Account and which bank ?

SBI - 

Mine was bank of india, closed 2 years back when they disabled transaction without any information and asked for kyc again on complaining.

Andhra Bank June 2006 for education loan, later closed education loan and eventually after about 2 years close savings account too due to their attitude when it comes to any service in the bank.

SBI August 2006, still holding it. This particular account travelled 3 states so far. Likely 4th in a few months.

Syndicate Bank, in 2002 when I was in Class 9. After a few weeks, I opened one in Corporation Bank as that account was fancier – printed pass books, free ATM card unlike Syndicate which issued handwritten passbooks and had no ATM in my town. Corporation Bank account was closed in 2012 and Syndicate was closed some 2-3 years ago, thanks to their attitude towards customers. 

I had opened my first bank account in UCO bank because they provided atm card to me with daily limit of 1500 and at that time SBI refused to give ATM CARD to minors and my 2nd account was in HDFC BANK. opened UCO BANK account in 2012 and still using because they provided rupay platinum debit card

Jokes apart, my first ever Savings Account was opened in SBI after my matriculation, when I went to pursue higher studies away from my hometown, in the state capital city.

First Salary Account was in ICICI Bank, offered as LTF, Zero Balance even after converted to Savings Account automatically. No charges for Debit Card or SMS alerts.

I still have both accounts, and using actively. 

SBI – 2007 still operative

Gullak bank of India at age of 5. Still having the coins of 10p 20p 25p 50p 100p 200p /Rs.1/2/5/10/20 notes. Initial deposit was 110 paisa. 10px5+20px3. Once deposited, never withdrawn. Thought of giving to my kids in future. Then at 15 decided to remain single throughtout life. Thank God. That decision proved to be a good one. Now 20 yrs later, life is much easy while other told it will be difficult with time. Yeah it get difficult only after you get married.

HDFC Bank – First job salary account in 2017 still using it & most likely will use it forever.

When I Was 17 I Opened SBI Bank Accnt – 500Rs Min Balance

The moment I turned 18, back in 2005. UTI Bank. Of course I had it closes many years back. Third rated bank. Even grameen panchayat banks are better.

opened first account, probably zero balance variant as I was a student and was in class 9th; the bank was BoB, the year 2006, its been dormant for many years but haven’t closed the account, wanted to start using it now but the weird branch manager is asking me to go to the branch and do KYC again which is like 150+ km from my current location and isn’t allowing me to do even account transfer before kyc.
2nd account was in sbi, opened in 2010, still use it sparingly.

Syndicate Bank – in 1999 – after I got the first job, for salary credit, account now dormant

ICICI Bank – in 2000 – salary account – still the primary account

First account Corporation Bank with INR 500 initial deposit & 100 – 100 after that few times… During school times… Used it for many years & still using & same is salary account as of now…..then Paytm (active) DBS (closed) UCO Bank (active but card is blocked 😔 ) will open one HDFC salary account as well in near future..
