When the bank offers you a CC variant upgrade, do they ping your CIBIL records again?

When you call the CC customer service of your bank for something else and they convey that you are eligible for an upgrade from your present variant.
1) If you agree, do they still ping your CIBIL record before issuing the new card?
2) What are the chances that, this offer gets rejected after you have agreed for the upgrade?

1) no there is no enquiry required for upgrade
Its totally based on your uses of the card u were alloted before
2) if they are informing u that u are eligible to upgrade
Then there becomes least chance to be rejected
Still totally based on banks policies
You can assume a 10% of rejection chances
