When will laptop prices come back to normal levels - COVID

Guys,
All laptop prices have shot up by 30% + in last 6 months.
By when can we expect normalcy to returns. Should i wait for an year to exchange my laptop for a new one
I have a I5 + 8 GB RAM + Dell latitude E5470 but off late it keeps throwing error like battery not detected . Then some day it detects the battery
Also amazon is ofering me 9500 as exchnage value. How stringent is amazon return process?

Not expecting laptop prices to go down in India anytime soon, better wait an year. Also if not using ssd then get it & dell original battery is always available from dell authorized service centre.

Dont know much about laptop price fall…but ssd will getting much much cheaper in 2021
