For best return , share market is the option. For safest FD is there.

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. You can try investing some part of money in Gold/ digital gold.

I already have a demat account , I meant to say that is this official site? If any company wants to list bond then this is the only site? Or this is some type of broker site? And also personally have u tried this site ever?

1. Not sure on your risk level, if this is surplus and able to take risk, go ahead with corporate bonds and Even Gold.

2. If you dont want to take risk and still this is surplus money u have then go ahead with bank FDs, Since bank have 5L insurance, though bank fails. you may get back, but it will not be instant, it may take 1-2 years to get that back. Small Finance banks and Yes bank IndusInd were giving >= 7.5%. You can do invest in gold too about 1K.

3. If you dont want to take risk and its the only money, then do FDs in Public sector banks, HDFC/ICICI, which offer nearly 6% interest. these banks very less chances of bankrupt, so you get the money easily at meturiry.
