i have 3 split ac in my home... samsung inverter, hitachi inverter 1.5 ton, mitsubishi electric 1.5 ton non-inverter....
out of all these never ever buy samsung in ac... worst
and according to my personal use
mitsubishi electric 1.5 ton non inverter is number 1
and no 2 is hitachi...
according to me go with window ac of hitachi they are very quite and perfoems excellent

I have used Hitachi Windows ACs, Panasonic Non Inverter Split ACs, Mitsubishi Inverter Split AC, Voltas Inverter Split AC and then last year bought 4 Haier Inverter Split ACs. Out of these in old days, Panasonic and Hitachi was very good but now they are not good anymore. Voltas and Mitsubishi both are garbage.
In today's time, Haier is the best with excellent cooling and unmatched 5 years warranty on all parts including gas. Haier ACs indoor unit (so is cooling coil) is much larger than Voltas.
Very happy with the purchase.
I am using Haier washing machine for last 6 years and Haier service support is excellent and comparable to LG, Samsung and no comparison with Voltas or Mistushibi third grade service.

LG inverter AC looks good to me.. bought 2 years back..working fine and not noisy..+ I have got 4 year extended warranty which cover 8 service (2/year) and everything is covered like gas, pcb, compressor etc.
+ LG service is very very fast

Anyone using Haier AC? How's the experience
I am getting 1.5 ton 4* Split AC @ 35.5K (excluding card offers - may get around 2.5K cashback/discount with cards) including installation & stand at Great Eastern
Would it be a good buy?
It was a 2023 model with something mentioned as 7in1 model
Also Haier is offering 5 years comprehensive warranty & 12 years warranty on the compressor which is making me think of it.

I checked this today in showroom.
Build quality is fragile. Salesperson was leaning on its front panel. When he moved away, panel shape didn't restore! đ
On opening front panel, I found internal cardboard to be way too flimsy.
Also, for next 5 years, you have to avail atleast one service from Haier every year, which costs 700 as of today. Locally, you can get same for 300.Â
I would say don't fall into this trap unless you live in area (like near to drains) where gas leaks are very frequent.

I checked Samsung Windfree 2022 model at Great Eastern. They had 2022 model, but gas leak is specifically 'excluded' from comprehensive warranty after 1 year.Â
For this reason, I ended up buying Daikin.

Go with either Carrier or LG or Ogenearal. Never purchase Hitachi window AC, their PCB is low quality built and easily gets damaged after 2-3 years.
Tell some best brands for Split AC with longevity?

Agree.. Other good one are Ogeneral & Daikin. Windows are bit noisy plus very few models with Inverter technology. Windows always make a irritating   sould while starting/shutdown of compresssor. I would preffer Split only with Inverter technology. Agar AC me confortable sleep na mile to kya faida.. Bhai one can easily do the basic servicing by self just wash outer grill with water pipe making a bit pressure flow holding thumb at the the edge (better keep the flow direction a bit vertical) dont worry compressor chamber is concealed reasonable good. Then take out front filter and wash them under running tap plus take a soft brush (old tooth brush) and carefully clean the iron grill in the indoor unit behind the filter, u can use water with mild soap also avaoid near pcb chamber. Just cleaning the dust filtet after 15-20 days of usage make a lot of difference... All the best
