Which DMAT account to open?

I need to open a dmat account, pls suggest which is good in terms of cost, facilities, service, app UI, features in their app/website, etc.
While suggesting any name, pls tell 2-3 pros and cons 😄
Earlier I used Icicidirect: its good, stable service, provides many features, but costly as annual charges plus brokerage kills. Also it requires icicibank acc, so closed.
Currently I have RelianceSecurity: which is almost not used. Its app is buggy and stop working on market crash day (due to heavy load), app has very min feature, no annual charges but brokerage is too high. So I am planning to close it.
Recently opened Groww for a family member: Opening process pathetic, they took 15 days inspite of adhaar kyc done, customer support is bad and takes 2 days to respond any query. App/UI is very fast, very simple but has only basic features. Zero amc but charges rs 20/0.05% on equity delivery.
Now I need to open a new dmat account for myself. Pls suggest some good options, based on brokerage, features in app/web, customer support, types of reports, reputation. I will deal in equity delivery, MF and IPO. Pls share feedback based on ur experience. Also do they allow investing in US based MF recently launched by Indian MFs?
From popularity prospective, Zerodha comes to my mind as its referred in all business channels.

If you have read his queries, then in last paragraph he talked about GROWW too, and has rejected it already because of low feature set and high brokerage.
Groww has higher brokerage charges though.
Save money, don’t open any dmat account 
Go with any top broker who provides zero brokerage on delivery.
Thanks, I am more inclined towards Zerodha being more popular, but in another thread, I had read sometime back that during peak time specially start and end of market, zerodha orders do not get executed. Is that true?
I opened groww and everthing was done in about 2 days.

Looks like more votes for Zerodha, so I will open it being free brokerage charges (only Amc charge ia there) and is most popular.
Another question – shares and MF should be taken in single name or joint name with spouse (as we do in bank accounts/FDs)? As MFs would for long term, and some shares for long term, so single name or joint name DMAT account?
Online/adhaar kyc mode opens single name, I can fill zerodha offline form for joint name acc if thats recommended. They said they will take 3 days to open in offline mode
