Even with slight clouding Airtel DTH will lose signal and lots of wrong info regarding program schedules.

I am using airtel dth personally.though it’s a bit costly,i have a good opinion on airtel due to friendly cc and 50 rs denomination rc availability.ya,as you said signal loss will be high if it rains.but where are the clouds ⛈️ after lockdown.we need another lockdown to get high density clouds and rains, which is not going to hpn soon😃

Where do you live? Hyderabad almost flooded for a week this rainy season. No need of high density clouds, even the slightest hint of weather change will make it to lose signal. Many times airtel DTH alerted us at least few minutes before it actually rained. Its like a home weather reporter for us. smile Always on duty.

I do live in hyd.those were the floods i also experienced since my childhood.as i said those were hpnd due to no pollution.now scenario changed na,u are not going to experience similar floods in hyd soon.infact hyd is one among safest cities.

Apart from signal loss during winter/rainy season and lots of wrong info regarding program schedules, there is one more point to be considered (if your connection is more than 1year old).

The technician visit is charged Rs150/visit and those guys know, how to make you to call them to visit you.
If every thing is perfect and they are unable to find any issue, during their visit, they will charge you by replacing the wire joint connector or pin (which is working fine till that moment).

This is because, all DTH providers are given their support functionalities to local technicians.

Best would be to go for Fibre based, if the TV is capable.

Avoid Videocon/D2h. Videocon has gone down the drain and D2h is being monitored by its employees with zero customer support. Have heard same things about SHITtel.

All are the same. If you can’t decide then do what i did.
Put names of DTH company on a dart board and then throw the dart.
Whichever DTH company the dart falls on pick that.

What’s the lowest airtel regional recharge amount can anyone tell me? I’m only keeping this bloody dth for mum. they charge 195 PM (137 NCF and 58 whatever the f) for like 10 Bengali channels only. It’s just prosperous. I’m from WB region.
