go for the one with better reputation .. people are struggling / begging for claim settlement ... most companies looks for easy way of claim rejection .

In short , store cash/money/bank account ... cash is the boss / king .

Even national insurance is increasing premium every year. As long as claim settlement is happening don't switch.

1. Need to buy a term insurance for myself(thinking between tata aia and max life) and 2. renew health insurance for my parents(60+). I currently have a 10lacs health insurance policy of star health. The price has increased by 10k when I am trying to renew. Hence, thinking whether to change or continue. Any suggestions would be of great help.

Frankly speaking switching of plan shouldn't be done particularly in senior citizen age group unless existing plan is too poor. Premium hike is normal phenomenon across all company particularly in Sr. Citizen age Premium will rise drastically. Just to save few bucks if u switch currently from X company to Y company, later on Y will also rise sooner or later.

Pm me, if u want to save few bucks in ur existing insurance plan.

Please suggest best and reasonable insurance for my senior citizen parents. My mother does not have any pre-existing illness, however my father has gone through angioplasty 2 times and have thyroid. (I dont have any company insurance for them now)
