Using a mobile as a hotspot will likely result in rapid battery deterioration unless  bypass charging is possible or the device can enter Deep Sleep while serving as a hotspot although it's not  as beneficial. Also temps. have to be kept in check by active cooling.

Just using 5G (w/o data) in phone makes phone so hot and also drains battery faster.

Enabling data and hotspot will make it hotter enough to prepare omlette on it.

It is better to keep phone cool enough so it performs normally.

Suppose cheapest 5G mobile cost 10000 and work for 2 years on continuous 5G use+ 2 years Jio recharge 3000x2.  Total 16000.

In this price, you can get 2.5-3 years fiber. And dont know how long Jio unlimited offer will go. It can expure in 6-12 months

Which SoC? SD8 G1, SD888 and Exynos whatever are poor when it comes to thermals in general.

correct bro so if Jio offer goes for 6-12 months the fibre cost for 3 years will be same as phone cost plus additional 2 year plan , so finally you will have an additional phone to sell or use and also you enjoyed high speed without restriction because of portable router.

Forget 6-12 months, party may end as early as April/May after the new financial year starts.

What is bypass charging? And how to make sure if deep sleep is serving hotspot?

Google the first query. Sony was the first OEM to introduce it years ago. Asus in it's ROG devices (3rd gen. and onwards. Recently Samsung in it's S23 series.

Regarding the 2nd, no idea. I didn't even know that it was even possible. First came across it in Redmi Note 10 Pro running MIUI. Probably a feature of somewhat recent SoCs. Several years earlier  the Nexus of its time was the first in the Android world to gain the ability to offload audio to a dedicated low power processor thereby allowing the AP (main CPU) to enter Deep Sleep(for 2/3rd of the total time ) resulting in very low battery drain during music playback but it didn't seem to catch on for some reason. Again another Redmi device (Redmi 3s ) was the only device I definitely know which made use of this feature. But it only worked in the stock MIUI MM or LineageOS 13.

@kukdookoo In Poco F4 as well the device is entering Deep Sleep while serving as a hotspot. I am staying on MIUI for 2-3 weeks so I can't check if this is a MIUI thing or it also works in custom ROMs. I was literally robbed of the opportunity to check this in case of Redmi Note 10 Pro😞
