Thanks @KMkool
All are good. Just have to use your BRAIN before ordering. Sabse ghatiya big basket when it comes to discounts on MRP… Have used flipkart to get 100 discount n loot 1 rs 3 items.
Check prices on all sites + any bank offer.. go with company which gives MAX discount…
so many offers from above, but my monthly bill is more when i buy from these than i buy from local market. why?
What i have observed is, over a period of time we get used to the prices (already inflated) and look at discounts and tend to compare various online apps/websites, which is happening here.
Visit your local whole sale shop (not now; many not available in small towns and villages, and i am assuming mostly urbantes are here) and buy constantly buy from them for 4-5 months and compare online.
The whole point entire community is missing is how to break the chain links that lead to small towns, villages where they pay much higher than us (urbnates).
None of gaints doing it.
This is my opinion, may be somone is better than me
I think, Supermart Is Best For Peoples If It Is Available At Their Pincodes.
any one have Bigbasket GV.
Need big amount
Appreciate dimers reverting this kind of personal request ,good work
Super daily is really good in bangalore thought bit pricey during lockdown but only one application deliver groceries every day and next day,I am subscriber for milk and they charge monthly fee of around 90 but it is worth during lockdown as you can buy anything next day ,it makes us completely independent from going to shops
Bigbasket for me as it used to have great offers on CITI band credit card but not anymore. Also Bigbasket stopped accepting SODEXO which is unfortunate and illogical (they mention no COD so no Sodexo Card).
Grofers is second option as Sodexo is accepted even on non food items. But limited items available.
Never tried Amazon Pantry due to odd limitations on per item qty.
JioMart doesn’t show many items. And behaves odd, one day it says delivery available, other day it says not available in my location yet. (Hyderabad)
Every month I use grofers + sodexo + SuprDaily (has some good discounts and next day delivery)
Interestingly i couldn’t get COKE anywhere except in SuprDaily.
Grofers limits 3 qty per order for coke 750ml. Bigbasket doesn’t show coke. Same with jiomart.
the only place i find mountain dew is grofers…..and they are selling at 28 rupees per bottle, market rate 35 per bottle…in Mumbai region they dont sell 1.75 and 2 litre bottles of mountain dew….
I have also ordered sprite coke thums up…here in mumbai bigbasket, amazon pantry, amazon fresh, dmart ready, starquik all have soft drinks at good rates.20-25% off minimum + at all times.
Jiomart fast service n no delivery charges
Flipkart Supermart, because it has daily 1Re. sale offer and also delivers quickly
Grofers mostly since you don’t have to compare juggling price like Amazon and BigBasket. Esp Amazon introduced like SuperFast delivery ‘Fresh’ where items are more expensive than regular Pantry or rather order from BigBazaar for quick delivery.
Don’t want all the hassle then simply use Grofers with membership which reduces price further and everyday there is some discount from different card or bank.
Also the Chakki Atta Price @ 276 / 10 Kg (before discount)is the least compared to any other grocery site online! Also, the local brands are of good quality compared to Amazon (not solimo)
Flipkart is best with reasonable price and as a reward of ordering grocery gives you supercoins.
MyKirana is also better with prices and delivery
Flipkart Supermart is not yet available in Kolkata.
Jiomart has entered here 2 months back. But it is not yet reliable here. They only provide an estimated delivery date and they always missed that estimate during my 4 orders on Jiomart. Also, there is no guarantee that you will get delivery of all the items that were ordered. This is just not acceptable.
Rest 3 (Bigbasket, Amazon and Grofers) are all good in Kolkata.
I prefer Amazon pantry. I have very bad experience with big basket in my 1st shopping.
Grofers my first preference because everything available there and amazon pantry my second choice.
Prices in grofers are competitive ,prompt delivery never failed SBC Customer get special reduced rates.
amazon sometimes gives very attractive price for few products.
Amazon and Jio Mart bcz of low price and no Delivery charges
Very Bad experience with Big basket..they sent expired 10kg Atta
After complaining they replaced 2 times…but both times they sent expired stock such worst customer care
Amazon pantry is best
I place multiple orders from different portals, whichever offers lower price….
I use to hate flipkart before, but even since i got flipkart plus ive been buying a lot…
Service wise i get same day next day slot on flipkart, amazon pantry, amazon fresh and bigbasket…
Grofers i get slot after 4-5 days, because they are getting A HUGE amount of orders …..during the first 2 months of lockdown grofers was delivering incomplete orders, but since june, every grofers order has been delivered on time and every product has been delivered properly……
So yes, dont buy blindly, order whichever offers cheapest.
This time happy with grofers 🏻 🏻
No.1 choice: Big basket ( truly widest range of products) But whenever I bought veggies or fruits I faced issues , rotten/ dried/ crushed ones were delivered. But their customer support team is excellent, whenever there’s a issue they solve it or refund the amount for damaged/ spoilt products. But delivery slot isn’t always available. So one need to try again and again.
No. 2: Great Customer support. Reasonable Prices ( considering the cash backs) rarely get any damaged products. If I get damaged product Getting issue is not a hassle.
Their packaging Box is good too rich we don’t get with big basket. But their product range is limited.
Grofer and Flipkart Supermart Is not available on my location. So can’t comment.
I’m yet to try JioMart
Big basket and grofers
Lots wholesale store or dmart which ever is feasible to you.
Grofers currently best prices
Amazon pantry always best
I find the prices of all the websites comparable when there are discounts running, ie, some products are costlier than others , but average out over the cart value. On a order of 1000, its maybe 40-50 or sometimes less. I have done this comparison many times over in the last few years. Also, its always that few items that I need aren’t available on every website. BigBasket is the least offender in this case. So 1-1 comparison of my shopping list is never 100% accurate. Finally, it all boils down to the items that I need and which website has the most available. Wait for the discount/offer and buy.
2018-2019 was mostly amazon for me as it gave lots of pantry discounts and offers (which are now reduced drastically). Before that, there wasn’t much competition and BigBasket was the only major player. I also ordered from BigBasket, Grofers and StarQuick in 2018-19 few times. 2020 its all mixed up. I ordered few times from Bigbasket which never got delivered due to the lockdown and sudden increase in demand. Have order few times from amazon, starquick and grofers. From last 2 months using Flipkart as I am getting multiple offers. Also shopped from More, Big Bazaar and Reliance Smart stores.
On another note, prices are excessively jacked up, be it online or in the stores. For eg, in Bangalore, Moong daal 1 kg is priced anywhere between 140-180/kg. But if you know wholesale, you can get for 110/kg. Some other eg, Toor daal 95/kg, sugar 37/kg, etc. Even for vegetables, small farmers sell almost at half price, whereas the stores and online jack up the prices. But not available everywhere and easily and not everyone has the time as well.
Finally my experience says, look for the website where some discount is available, like card discount, or coupon discount, etc. See if the items you need are available, if yes then order. Else, take some membership and become loyal to that website. Take card which provides additional benefits, eg amazon icici. Buy from it without thinking twice whenever you need and cut all the other hassles.
It should rather be convenience than looking for additional discounts.
Yea discount are and should be priority as well but comparing it to offline rates is something completely different.
Comparing the proces to a big bazaar or a dmart where we need to go there and shop – its a cost for us as well. Plus the time and convenience as well
Amazon pantry offer best service and good products but if you are prime customer then it’s awesome
Search not working in Jiomart. Any workaround for this?
Wholesale shop in nearby market. Nothing is cheaper than it.
I have ordered from Grofers and Big basket only. The experience was better with BB. They delivered 90% products i ordered. Grofers replaced 40% and 10% were not delivered.
