Hi Guys,
Hope you all having a great day!
Peanut butter is something not many of us have a taste palette for, however, some of us do love the old-school PBJs if you know what I mean. Also, Fitness enthusiasm knows the benefits of peanut butter after a workout on in your meal plan.
Let me know in the comment section below which brand is the best when it comes to good quality peanut butter.
Option 9 - Sundrop
Option 10 - DiSano
Try Pintola or Alpino
Amul Spread Crunchy Peanut Butter
Told my wife that I love PBJ…without the P. 😜

Pintola is the best in my personal observation. Best thing would be to buy the peanuts, roast em on a sand/salt bath, grind em. Making your own peanut butter is economical and really amazing. 🙂🙂🙂
Do you make your own peanut butter??
i had fissures since many decades. And peanut butter helps with that. Because it has a lot of fiber.
Is this good guys? Why does it have so much Sugar, Added Sugar, Saturated Fats?
Budhe-Baba wrote:Is this good guys? Why does it have so much Sugar, Added Sugar, Unsaturated Fats?
Unsaturated fat is good fat, it is saturated/trans fat which is bad for health.
Budhe-Baba wrote:ya, so this peanut butter has a lot of saturated fat. And a lot of added sugar also. That’s why asking if it is good?
Majority of processed food will have saturated fat, the thing to look out for is that it isn’t too much & is accompanied with similar/more amt of unsaturated fat to at least offset some negative effect of saturated fat.
For sugar you can take a look at this old article which is still valid I think.

Only peanut.. ye butter bekar lagta hai any brand.. 2 time bought almist free one time with 8 9 rs.. expire ho gya.. koi nahi khata.. isme hota kya hai? Badam ki chatani 🤔
apne ko the whole truth ka protien pb saste me mil jata to apne ko bs wahi jamta.
Budhe-Baba wrote:ya, so this peanut butter has a lot of saturated fat. And a lot of added sugar also. That’s why asking if it is good?
try the one which has no other ingredients except peanuts and protien.
Even Pharmaeasy loader says pb sheds body fat plus it gives good cholesterol not the bad one. More than one small teaspoon can be serious issue but in limit it can be good. I guess 10gms daily or 50gms weekly is enough

the hard particles in the nuts will rip the fissure. It’s not good for IBS and fissures.

Have tried Butternut Co normal PB and one with whey. Both are unbearable to eat. Tip: Never buy 1 kg, Always buy 500gm.
Tried Oxie Chocolate Peanut butter, it is very good without any hydrogenated vegetable oils. You can get 500gm at just 99 from GOQii app.
Thank you everyone for your feedback. 😊

Now you know how at one time there were a significant no. of ppl who believed Hillary Clinton ran a pizza-restaurant child-sex ring. If peanut butter has any strong association with cancer then you would have already seen it in national newspapers print editions & various health sites/forums. Cancer is one of the least understood diseases in the world & one can find link to its causes among almost anything if one is determined to find a link. For reference, many ppl know that smoking causes cancer but to this date the exact mechanism which causes it is still not understood completely or why there isn’t a 100% rate of cancer among all smokers(in fact a majority of smokers don’t get cancer at all but majority of lung cancer patients are smokers).

Good answer. KG.
Foods that are commonly affected include all nuts, especially groundnuts, tree nuts such as pistachio and Brazil nuts, cottonseed, copra, rice, maize, wheat, sorghum, pulses , figs and oilseed cakes. Unrefined vegetable oils made from contaminated seeds or nuts usually contain aflatoxin.
*Animals fed contaminated food can pass aflatoxin transformation products into eggs, milk products, and meat.
its just not peanuts that’s affected by this naturally occurring cancer causing compound (Aflatoxins), lots of crops as shown in above list by default contains some low level of aflatoxin content. But serious contamination (high levels of Aflatoxins) occurs due to mouldy crops or foods stored in bad storage conditions.
Our food safety board (FSSAI) has a regulatory framework on how to minimize the Aflatoxin content in all these food varieties be it during production stage or storage. It also has regulatory limits on how much of this toxin is allowed during the food sample testing stage. below pic shows the fssai permissible limit
Some peanut butter brands(on amazon) do advertise their Aflatoxin sampling results to assure you of the product quality.
Is it necessary to refrigerate peanut butter? I don’t have fridge, then Should I buy peanut butter?

It’s ideal to store peanut butter in cool, dark places, such as the pantry or fridge. Make sure to handle peanut butter with clean utensils to prevent cross-contamination, and to close the jar tightly to limit air exposure.

I think they must have made that “clean utensils” rule after finding such users..
@Snapz Yeah buddy, you can store them without fridge – no issues! Don’t store in kitchen (heat up) areas.. that’s it.
