Raj bhai you can have sprouted moongs. Avoid Kellogg it’s not good. In India they give plenty of sugar along with corn flakes. You can have one/two Bananas instead. 🙂🙂🙂 Boiled potatoes/sweet potatoes can be good alternative. You can have an egg.
If these are not feasible then try to buy locally produced corn flakes and oat meals from local store. 🙂🙂🙂 Oat meal is superior to corn flakes in my opinion.

bro, reason for preferring packaged breakfast cereal is
1. coud be consumed instantly without much effort for preparation in the morning. like with milk.
2. would be very easier and effortless as we order 1 kg around and can be consumed for a month instead running to local markets every week.
3. would contain all nutrients like for ex soulful oats+ragi+nuts+fruits (dried) would contain all these and many more.
4. price would be cheaper compared to if we buy everything separately and fresh.

Oats are certainly more healthier than Corn Flakes, as they do not increase your blood sugar levels and reduce cholestrol levels.
I have a family history of diabetes and high cholestrol levels, (my sugar levels remain at top end of the limits and cholestrol levels are slightly higher than the limits), I have adopted oats as a regular routine for my breakfast. However oats are much difficult to prepare and not tastier. I found Kellogs, Saffola & Quakers oats equally good, probably as there is no taste in them.
If you have no problems with your blood sugar levels and cholestrol you can safely opt for corn flakes/Muesli, which are equally nutricious, but very easier to prepare and are tastier. I found Kelloggs Nuts Delight Muesli most tasty.
You can consume corn flakes/muesli with cold milk also, but oats have to be prepared on high heat for longer period to make them soft enough to eat.

As said by many others, it’s correct that packaged foods (except plain oats/cornflakes) are not good for us. However these are certainly better in taste and quality than Kellogg’s. I’ve had these and they are full with fruits and many more healthy things like watermelon seeds, chia seeds and all. Taste much better than Kellogg’s too.

If you haven’t tried them I’d recommend you to try them atleast once for sure (if you rely kn packaged cereals and have no option) yum

Also Amazon gives ₹30 cashback if you buy the 2 flavour packs individually one after the other smile smile

Again I’m reminding that if you can manage to mix some fresh oats + cornflakes and add to it nuts and fresh fruits then it’s the best option however if that’s not possible for you then packaged cereals are always there for you wink

Other than eating something for taste try adding small quantities of sprouted grains, millet or lentils. A small amount goes a long way in adding fibre, antioxidants & vitamins to your diet at a very low cost.

Sprouted barley’s fibre has benefits of lowering Cholesterol, & Intestinal Protection. It’s also good for heart health, diabetes & gallstones.

Sprouting any grain reduces ‘antinutrients’ which cause digestive issues & increases antioxidants & nutrients many folds.

you could try overnight frozen oats. I know you are looking for more of a drag n drop kinda thing but anyways this should take you like 5-10mins prep time. youtube has like zillion combinations on how to prepare these oats combo.

you can design your own recipe to make it as simple as possible, something like a cup of oats + 1 or 2 fruits or just a simple banana + yogurt + milk or plain water + peanut/almond butter
you can also thrown in some chia seeds, sesame seeds, flax powder, ceylon cinnamom powder, honey/date syrup etc., to make it more nutritional and tasty. just dump it into the fridge at night and its ready for ya in the morn

All packaged food and particularly corkflakes and muselli, contain high levels of sugar and preservatives. Will completely damage you by the time you turn 40.
Prefer oats, millets and traditional food. Even boiled/steamed potato & veggies is better than cornflakes. You can use a rotational menu. Oats cooked in milk has a repulsive taste for many. We normally prepare chicken or vegetable soup at night and keep it in the fridge. Morning we add oats to it, bring it to a boil to make a porridge and then consume. Tastes better and requires less time to cook. We have idli sambar once or twice a week. Also make upma on some days, with either oats or millets or rawa/suji and boiled eggs as a side.

My combination…
Purchase CornFlakes (Any Brand) , Muesli (Any Brand) , Oats (Any Brand)
Now Take 3 Spoons of Museli + 3 Spoon Of Oats + 1.5 Handful of Corn Flakes + 15-20 Handful of Raisins + 2 Almonds + 4 Dates + 2 Kaju + 500 ml milk
Mix well once and leave for 4 minutes (i chop the dates before adding them)
Mix well again… enjoy…
I purchased Kwality Muesli (almonds, raisins and honey) @ 50% discount from Flipkart (Dont buy fruit and nut museli that is like junk)
Kwality CornFlakes @ 50% discount from Flipkart
Oats from D’mart @ 50% DMART for Around Rs.90 as all other onsite and offline retailers are fooling nowadays without giving any discount on OATS
and believe me i didn’t find any difference between Baggrys , Kellogs or the Local brand oats which is available at less than half the price of branded ones.
Thank me later stuck_out_tongue

my breakfast was rolled oats/ quinoa with elaichi banana and soaked chia seeds with cold milk when i was able to get banana from market regularly
i added dry fruits and other fruits as per taste and availability.
sometimes almonds, cashew, pistachios – none roasted, just broken into fine pieces using belan stuck_out_tongue stuck_out_tongue
and i added roasted makhana on top as its very crunchy smile

quinoa needed to be boiled for like 10 mins to be soft and in case of oats i just left the mix for 10 mins so that oats become soft,

i ate this meal as my breakfast for more than 3 months daily and it took roughly 15-20 mins to prepare (few days exception when i had ample time to make breakfast)

PS- only sugar here is from banana and that much sweet is sufficient for taste buds, no need to add sugar/honey for sweetness

I love Yogabar Muesli Dark Chocolate+Cranberry and the Turmeric+Ginger one. I used to get it for for 50% off at Star Bazaar sometime back but now its not available any more. So I buy it from Amazon where its atleast 17% to 20% off. Yogabar has its own online store too (https://www.yogaba...n/). Usually they dont offer any discount or have any promotions for existing customers but currently you can get 10% off Rs 800 + free shipping by using code SHOP10. New customers get 15% off on their first order using GET15 code.

My suggestion is Buy two variants of Kellogs together and mix them.

1. Muesli Fruits and nuts variant
2. Plain regular variant

There are two benefits of mixing them :

(i) it will reduce the sugar content overall because plain regular variant contains very small amount of sugar.
Also many people dont like excessive sweet taste which is there in muesli fruits and nuts variant. It will solve their problem too.

(ii) This will be economic for u as well as plain regular content is cheaper than other variants.
