I had only bought Samsung LCD/3D LED and found their Customer support very good.

First Of All If U Go For Samsung Or Sony….I Bet U Will Need The Service In Negligible Terms….And IMO Samsung Carries The Best Service In My Area Bcoz I Own All Samsung Electronics In My House Except A Washing Machine …

Why do you need a after sales service if items are of good quality?

No one goes for after sales support for hardware/software issue atmost but in Samsung some face hardware issues in low end models particularly!

Similarly for TVs too!
Check Sony or Samsung
As far as we bought a Sony tv for Diwali we are happy with it! No problems till now!

In my experience of owing both Samsung and Sony, Samsung’s customer care has been the best though Sony was also OK.

I would suggest get one which offers the best warranty coverage (Extended) as LCD/LED panels can be very expensive to replace in case you get unlucky and hence best to have peace of mind of warranty coverage.

P.S. I had a 40" LCD Sony TV whose panel went bad after around 2 years, luckily I had opted for extended warranty.

Refrigerator compressor conked off within warranty leading to mother board damage. 9 days after raising complaint, 8 days after technician visit, multiple emails to CEO India & Customer Service Head later, a customer care executive asks me to find out the status of my complaint by calling the third party service centre which has been handed my case!
Would u ever want to be scammed so by a multinational? I wouldn’t!

I don’t know which is best but I know India’s no one third class service provided to MI it’s very poor service in TV segment
