I have often observed that people including dimers generally fight for petty issue and waste their energy & time which could otherwise be channelized into something useful & productive.

it is more of nation character of ours people. be it DD or street or gali or highway, you see it everywhere.

Thusly... petty beings doing petty things is nothing that surprising or out of place really.
To top it all (apart from being petty) Homo sapiens are epic level narcissistic megalomaniacs too.
Hence we assume to have roles bestowed upon us (sometimes by the non-existent higher power) too.
Literally so many other species have almost all or even better range of psychological and emotional development and obviously of skills too.
Yet... Homo sapiens have bestowed themselves as "the chosen one".
Homo sapiens have bestowed upon themselves.. titles like 'the best' species, ashraf-ul-makhluqat and what not.
Thus all such narcissistic megalomaniacal tendencies, arrogance, living in a make-believe world, unsatiating desire for validation, unsatiating greed (of status, of stature, of authority, of recognition, of control, of money) and at times being jerks (in general) are good enough recipes for being petty.
Many other apes and even mammals like dolphins have some of these traits too. But nothing closely resembling Homo sapiens.
🤷🏻♂who knows🤷🏻♂ .. at times.. being petty too might have helped Homo sapiens remain one of the longest surviving human species (or vice versa).
i think people are getting more and more frustrated and losing patience or tolerance even for little dispute , even in the traffic i see the same
people fight over petty issues, may be it is excessive use of digital screens that has messed up with our dopamine receptors or in general the pace of today's life
