Why is Amazon not allowing exchange of apparel 1 size larger?

Pro Entertainer
Budhe-Baba
I received a pant which is 1 size smaller. I exchanged it for 1 size larger, but this also is still not large enough.

When I am again trying to exchange for 1 size larger, I am now getting error that seller does not have another size. But I can clearly see that seller has 1 size larger.

What is happening any idea? Is only 1 exchange allowed in Amazon?

Ideally only one RMA can be created for replacement/ exchange.

If you had the size chart on-site and it is correct,
then better not pusg your luck with them.

Internally their system or the seller
can surely have limited inventory for reorders due to RMA.

New customers may have a separate inventory, than that for existing orders with issues.

Talk with agent and ask them to initiate the exchange.

May be to stop the exploitation. There's very less demand for select sizes and so the discount % offered is usually higher for these compared to popular sizes and people like us dimers used to order the cheaper sizes and then replace it with the appropriate one.

If i remember correctly, FK or Amazon also came up with similar restriction in the past (only refund/replacement, no one-time exchange either)

I talked to them. They say exchange is allowed only once. Bloody Amazon.

I had ordered 4 items at loot price in recent loot. All 4 are damaged or 4 year old products. So had to return all 4.

And still get called bloody Amazon, DESPITE allowing customers to exploit itself.
(Including the OP here, who successfully created an exchange for the alleged 'loot' items, as he calls them).

Stopped purchasing apparel online because of sizing issues (+ negative remarks via returns/replacements). Like already mentioned, amazon is known to clear returned goods via these loot deals, and they even used to have a disclaimer of "No returns" on deep discounted products for some sales

Agreed.
However, your point (which I quoted) too is valid from their end.

Unlike with electronics, non returnable items
the concessions for fashion category are not immediately going to trigger any harsh consequential matrices.

In so far as I know,
‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏• Cold vote is the term on this site (and specifically the forums) for disliking/ votting down.

In so far as I know,
‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏• Amazon has a total count of ODR (Order Defect Ratio) for sellers and something similar is/ must be there for buyers too.

Any free prime extension (due to missed GDD/ Guaranteed Delivery Date), normal concession (Goodwill GC), exchange/replacement and refunds are all effected/added by clicking on the 'concession' tab/option in their CSC/ CIM (Customer Issue Manager) tool.

Now with soap, shampoo, food, jewellery, printing paper rims or other items which are refunded without pickup,
OR
an 'exception' is created in the tool, to give an advance refund
it is treated as a double whammy by their risk management systems.
(Sometimes Amazon may not pay the seller, but for most cases of 'delivered by Amazon' or fulfilled by Amazon, the TRMS/ Transaction Risk Management System, sees it as a double loss when goods too are out of the warehouae and refund too is given.).

Automated TRMS systems trigger internal notifications, if the ratio of total orders to (such) dirty orders breaches initial threshold.

Often buyers even get 'notice: policy warning' e-mail from an address like ofm or cis.

If the users chose to ignore those automated e-mails and things get elevated to a backend D.A.R.T. or C.A.P. specialist, then tadaaa🎊🎊.

Ewwww no!

But some of those (who are internal employees or from the go-sites) often openly defecate https://t.co/zaULxjiHBg or innocently tell stuff

or get over excited and call the Cx from their personal numbers and want to chat them up or seek advice.

.

Even otherwise a casual search of amazon.jobs or LinkedIN gives ample insights into the [QUOTE]internal terms[/UNQUOTE].

.

And private forums, even Reditt (or whatever is the correct spelling) are always full of horror stories related to Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), harsh working conditions in warehouses (even during near zero degree temperatures, peak Christmas sales) and the general pressure-cooker environment https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-11-28/amazon-worker-jumps-off-company-building-after-e-mail-to-staff in big conglomerates.

.

Had I been an employee or wanted to seek favours from those still comnected, then I would not be writing almost daily to SDS ECR (shipping delivery support) swines to remove the temp hold they have put on a 10 years old account.

An account in which nearly 9000INR worth credits are going to expire in the near future.☹

Karan bro, no offence and you are a capable adult (above 18 years, free to vote. Later eligible to drink, marry).

.

But I heard that even in your market (Amazon NorthAm) VCS D.A.R.T. or other such processes are rather chilled.

So.. are you completely moving out? Or maybe move slightly to be a seller/warehouse side Risk Investigator.

Or Tina Faizaan type stuff too https://t.co/zaULxjiHBg may be okayish?

.

But i am illiterate and i do see you are preparing for various technical skills, softwares

so best wishes for you sir.

Bro in NA market they got to maintain its brand quality and they take it too much seriously which results in micro management but its flexible and by playing smart u can trick the system too sometimes, All Amazon website policies are better than India only because of indian cxs behaviour, u know indian market , abusing policies so much that they are no longer provided QUALITY however its better than other e-commerce

Nd regarding moving out bro , I would be moving internally via IJP to other roles such as communications coach or data analyst or god knows what I'm eligible for 😂 dnt knw myself just got to give test stil yet to learn these things however leaving out INDIAN DART L3 for sure

Nd please dont say sir bro

It is bloody amazon. The amount of crap - both unethical and illegal and even deaths (direct and indirect) are way humongous then the so called loot you're talking about.
