I want to gift my son Alexa echo dot 3rd gen on his birthday. It was always available for Rs. 2200 with wipro or other smart bulb, both on amazon and tatacliq. But since I have decided to gift, I see it at 3350 rupees on all sites.. Any idea when will pruce reduce?

Echo devices prices are very volatile. If you are fine with it go for google home. You’ll get it at 2k + some card offers.

True though.. bought echo dot in September for ~1400 by using add to wishlist bug. Worthy buy, but I use it only as an alarm. These things tend to get boring over time. So doesn’t make much of a difference to buy either.
