Thinking to switch to axis premium banking.
But reading axis threads in desidime, i got - axis chor hai and many negative reviews.
Anyone here axis bank account holder pls put light shall i switch to axis for better credit cards or stay with hdfc?
Make relationship with axis only with credit cards, not with account

Like the way you summarized - outrightly straightforward 😂😂

Forgot to give credits to @MrKool_JJ . Now, will sue u. 😝
Axis personnel themselves don't know about the features of their account(s) and would go to the extent of lying to meet their targets - misinformation along with misrepresentation of facts and then charging for everything.
It's better you avoid axis. Hdfc imperia is just a stamp... It's a totally useless programme of theirs.
You can think of IDFC Wealth account.
It's about charges they take in your account.
Even if you visit branch people there have no Idea about charges debited.
Also if min balance not maintained 338 charge.
Hdfc has 150+gst.
Also no reward on debit card like hdfc gives 400/750 per month.
Axis Grab deals is something like hdfc smartbuy but grab deals has scammed many.
If you love your money then don't keep it in axis Bank you will regret later mark my words
I also read lot of complaint against axis. And some are very horrible.
That set aside -
I own axis account since 2006 . Not a single unpleasant experience for me so far. Just don't give any consent to calling rms for personal loan - credit card upgrade etc. Do whatever you want only through app Or net banking. Everything will be fine. 😂

No idea about credit cards and stuff.
But when dad had his account in a big city/ properly staffed branch of UTI and there was also corporate business feom the company.. at-least the in person experience was good enougThen Urinary Tract Infection bece Axis of Evil and in general even their account atatent priniting software was/is so sheety that only N characters of summary/ledger entry reason.
And it was always a herculean task to decipher the entries for reconciliation.
.
Premier bankibg services are stull acceptable in some cities, branches.. but our experience is limited to usual CASA products or investments and
Not credit cards.
I have Axis Savings Acct since 1998-99. Never had any issue so far. It is my primary acct for UPI (most apps are linked to this) and also for ATM Cash (3-4 times a month). Avr bal remains around 15K. Normally transfer funds from my salary acct to fund it. Don't even have a dedicated RM, at least no one calls.
Based on this acct, I got FK (LTF), Myzone (LTF) and Airtel (paid) credit cards.

And I woke up from dream. 🤪🤪
I will say shift to Axis, many -ve things about Axis like some charges, no proper reply, no edge points or cash back credited some times
but Axis cards are most beneficial, when it came to shopping or bill payments its Axis card and savings are significant
I ignore those charges and milk their cards, moved from DCB to Magnus+Ace and will close DCB near anniversary

Maybe you don't ask them questions or post queries.
I didn't mean UI wise or banking wise. Uske liye to sbi bhi great hai. (actually more knowledgeable than hdfc)

Isn't base reward of magnus less than half of dcb?

Yes, I dont ask them anything. I mostly use it as a payment bank. For my limited purpose, their website info is good enough. In last 10 years I have gone to the branch twice, once for change of address and another time since the debit cards were diverted to the branch.
My primary bank has been ICICI since 2000 and since 2016, I use Digibank to park excess funds.

Likewise for ANZ Grindlays.. when it existed.
.
Also once a client of ours had an account in Banque de Nouvelle-Écosse or Nova Scotia bank.
.
And looking at how (back then) they just had one branch in South Bombay.. I had opened an account there (while the client of ours helped casually introduce us to the branch people).
.
Deutsche too have amazing corporate account management.
.
The likes of ICICI, Axis, HDDC can hardly be expected to break the mould (same old worker ant/ ant colony type style of working).

Citi is now axis na?
Ramta_Jogi wrote:Isn't base reward of magnus less than half of dcb?
but DCB points are now complicated to use with 70% limit and annual fees
my spends are around 1lac pm so Magnus best option 6% returns(converting to miles has 40%returns-not verified), -ve being followups for RP
last week I tried to pay at Brigade Group(razorpay) rs 4lacs and DCB not accepted😌 always this uncertainty is there with Diners
used IDFC FW as Magnus gives low RP above 1lac

He still tells us how once the citibank people came to a hospital at 11 pm with 2 lakh cash (a big amt those days) so that an emergency operation can take place. That time, ATM/credit card was still in theory in India and cash was everything. His father is still alive just because of citibank.Try citibank private banking. You could have got those cards through BSBDA account too
Axis Bank experience is close to SBI. If you ok to have sub-par services then go ahead with Axis bank. Else it is advised to avoid Axis bank like a plague.
😂my first experience with axis. stepped into the new branch that was opened near my home. a guy in the door (in the name of helping me) doesnt even allowed me to go in and instead was asking about my salary and earnings. when i said that i came to enquire about opening savings account, he said that all new account openers will be 'gifted' with free credit card. when i said i dont want credit card and only want savings, he blatantly lied that savings account need 1lakh balance, and he could reduce it to 10k if i took credit card. i said im poor and walked away. this was 4 years ago

Most people are against AXIS savings account not credit cards. Please mention few benefits which Axis savings account provides but others don't. AXIS f**** everyone with Consolidated Charges. And debit card fees are higher too.
