why Redmi phones not providing NFC in their mobiles?
Also in mi 10i, they have Google’s dialler n messaging app, instead of miui’s. Now other person will be notified on call recording.
Once I have read, Micromax have put a case on Xiaomi and made them not to sell their mobiles with Snapdragon processors. And only after ban period over, they brought such processors in India. Bad Micromax.
Was there anything similar to that?
Carl pei, of oneplus left OnePlus. Now OnePlus started bringing many new products that are similar to oppo, so it’s just in the name of brand licensing. Oneplus uniqueness is fading.

I think some court banned Xiaomi from selling MediaTek processor based phones in India, not the ones with SD.
As @andromeda said, they do not provide it coz of money involved and many people are not using them in India currently.
This can change when Indians start using NFC more commonly (remember volte on Phones was rare before Jio)
Carl Pie once said it costs ~$4 to companies just to keep that NFC chip in Phones.. (Carl Pie in MKBHD video about OnePlus Nord) so it may cost $4-$5 when it comes to customer hands.
Ericsson sued/approached court on Xiaomi for selling Mediatek chipset Mobiles in India due to some Patents infringement and not Micromax.
Micromax sued OnePlus on Cyanogen OS
Xiaomi told that due to privacy laws in different regions (read as European laws) they are pre installing Google Phone and messages apps instead of own app..
They might have started maintaining same builds instead of different for different regions..

Carl Pie left OnePlus and this OnePlus is not looking same..
But maintaing a Fan based Mobile company is also not that easy.. (NextBit, Essential etc) even MI and Redmi were different at their initial days..

Redmi customizes (infact most manufacturers does) the product BOM (Bill of Material) as per the region. A few models made for other parts of world has NFC in them and the same model in India doesn’t has it. In India NFC is barely used, so they knocked it off their spec, and also it adds to the overall reduction in cost, which is another important factor in India.
