Why RuPay card not support on Netflix, Paypal, Google, youtube, Erosnow etc (here is the answer):
Many of you always want to know why RuPay cards not support on Netflix, Paypal, Google, youtube, Erosnow etc websites?
the reason is RuPay cards currently not support “recurring payments” or “Standing Instructions”.
if you dnt know what is “recurring payments” or “Standing Instructions” then in short you need to know All subscription-based websites need one time your visa/mastercard otp and every month they auto debit their monthly plan amount from your bank account without need of your visa/mastercard otp
“This feature would have enabled customers to issue a onetime mandate to make recurring payments for periodic services rendered from merchants. The use cases for this would have been automatic payments of monthly bills and subscription-based services,”
citing concerns of possible misuse, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) left this feature on RuPay cards.
RBI scrapped the feature because it felt the technology could be misused by unregulated operators to widen their credit network using pyramid schemes and chit funds.
