Why the Deals are disappointing this year? Are they prompting users to search and buy from local shops?

Its been few days since Amazon and Flipkart started annual sales but Its hard to find any WoW online deal.
Flipkart had one or two but they required pre booking, Amazon had this 32 inches TV today (which nobody could order).
I explored local market and found products at good discounts and satisfaction of bargaining.
I had a long festive list but I might purchase very little online this year if this trend continues.
Anybody else feeling disappointed by the Online Sales ?

It’s good that they are still at same price.
As I am seeing products even at higher rates than the normal.
Maybe you are looking for deals on the wrong items.

My credit card is not eligible for bank discount.
Searching for any actual deal. 
Either Flipkart is using paid news to build narrative or the sellers are seeing growth because more people are purchasing online now. This might be first big billion day sale for many.
I knew I ordered a lot during my first month of shopping, part of excitement, learning and new found convenience.
don’t know why all my wishlist items are still wirh same price in this SALE . No change in price at all. Looks like they only promoting bank discount as a festival Sale .
