Very important. I took my mother for vaccination disappointed to see the arrangements. Very crowded and after the vaccincation they have to wait there with the crowd in a closed confined space for half an hour. Ab to bas bhagwan bharose. Please be careful when getting the vaccine or accompanying anyone to get vaccine but definitely get the vaccine asap.

Not to sound negative but efficacy of the vaccine is more important… Saying only 0.04% negative rate sounds good on paper, but when the population is 1.3 Billion then that 0.04% becomes 0.53 Million, that’s 5.3 Lakhs people and YOU wouldn’t want to be in this 5.3 Lakhs number…

But after vaccination, symptoms won’t be severe like today people are dying in hospital

The data is promising , but there are other factors including long term side effects (if any) , durability and efficacy of the acquired immunity.
No studies related to the duration of the antibodies formed by the vaccine, so only time can tell the actual results
It is important for the time being though

Yes, this is very talked upon topic. As many research shows actual covid recovered people last with immunity for 6-7 months for 20-30% of population then how can vaccine immunity last longer as vaccine also helps in producing only antibodies.

Antibodies from real infection should be a lot more in number with compared to vaccine.

The data put out by the government
Very reliable source … Especially when the there are so many discrepancies w.r.t COVID test reports via Govt Hospitals

Don’t rush to get vaccinated. Evaluate your/family member condition thoroughly and get vaccinated.
Since second phase of vaccination, govt allowed 45+ w/ co-morbidities (including immuno-compromised patients) to get vaccinated but there is no data on possible side-effects of vaccination yet.

In some-cases the side effects could turn out to be life-threatning (Especially those w/ Auto-Immune conditions or on Immunosuppressants)

Only 76/436 participants (above mentioned medical conditions) had detectable anti-bodies post 3 weeks from first vaccine dose (Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech)

You can check the survey data on patients w/ different health conditions here

True, with reinfections happening here and there, I don’t think we know enough of this virus yet, it takes atleast 4-5 years for a stable vaccine from what I read somewhere
Till then, it might end up as a time pass, people will keep losing immunity again and again

I get cold every couple of months, no immunity yet toungueout

That’s because cold causing viruses are smarter.

That’s a matter of concern and must be looked into , faced the same situation in mumbai government hospital.
Vaccination room was big enough but outside waiting and token system was absurd and very congested. Everybody where standing in queue back to back in a congested corridor ,no question of social distancing could have been thought of by standers.

There is a Very big Muncipal Ground at 500 meters from the vaccination centre also a medium like in schools Muncipal Ground which could have been used by the authorities , but who will educate them in this regards .

They are doing work cause they have to do it, no one is bothered about queue and crowd….. The team should give feedback and the high headed minister should listen to feedback…. The whole purpose of safety is defeated due to lapses in arrangements…..
Ram Bharose……
