Will a customer receive 5X SBI debit card reward points for paying electricity bills?
Currently SBI is offering 5X reward points up to 500 points (minimum 1000 spend) on its debit card in various categories one of which is Utility payment (MCC 4900). I was wondering if a customer would be eligible for the reward if they pay electricity bill through any third party apps like Amazon, Paytm, phonepe etc using SBI debit card or will it be valid only if the payment is made directly from the Electricity board site?

What about debit card? Will the 5x points be applicable if electricity bill is paid through third party apps like Amazon Paytm etc or only applicable if it's paid from the Electricity board website?
