What's wrong with Woohoo ? Yesterday created new account and purchased Amazon Pay EGVs of Rs. 500, Rs. 500, Rs. 500, Rs. 500 and Rs. 750 with 5-10 minutes of gap between each purchase. Payment done via scanning UPI QR code.
Then after this when purchasing one more Amazon Pay EGVs of Rs. 500, it showed a message just before payment page.
Like, when even govt allows Rs. 10000 limit for non-Kyc and/or min-Kyc users and when sites like amazon don't put such restrictions while buying EGVs then why this Woohoo MORON need my government approved ID proof for purchasing EGVs of only approx Rs. 3000 ?
I have not proceeded after that pop up message displayed thinking Woohoo might hold my EGV.
If anyone faced this then kindly tell me, if I proceed further, do they really hold the EGV until I show them my govt ID proof ?
or any random govt ID proof number 'll also work ?
or any other way apart from wasting time fighting with customer care ?
