I purchased 4600 ajio gift card using amazon pay wallet upi.

transaction failed but money got deducted on oct 1.

wohoo does not show failed transaction history.

when i am asking for refund in twitter they are saying no such transaction exist.

The same is the case with my IRCTC transaction done with Amazon pay wallet UPI on 23 Aug 2022. Still no refund even after IRCTC has given proof of razorpay gateway team's email with RRN. Have been chasing Amazon since then! Also one thing, as per NPCI every UPI app should have an option to file a chargeback like gpay, phonepe, paytm all have it except AMAZON PAY UPI! Their customer care is also unaware as to how to raise a UPI chargeback, and say to contact the bank even after telling that Amazon is the bank when debit is from Amazon pay money account. Really pathetic! Thinking to mail this to NPCI guys, some good penalties will put them on track!

For me, they refunded amount in gift card. Maybe because 10000 limit was already over or i am not sure. Now I don't know what to do with 10k. 
anyone wants to use it with some discount ping me please.

In amazon pay balance upi transaction, if it fails or success(both the ends) then it's okay. But transaction is successful and merchant doesn't receive money then you are in such a mess.

This is exactly the case with one 10k UPI transfer to jupiter vpa, amazon wallet is debitted but destination is not credited since 3rd Oct. Jupiter investigated and they couldn't find the money.

Could you suggest where this can be taken up best to get it resolved.

woohoo said that they have issue the refund on last week thursday, but it is not credit in amazon yet.
amazon customer care is saying the money is stuck with bank and they have raised a ticket with bank.

what should i do now? the amount is 4600 and date of transaction is oct1.

This is what payu is saying

Hi, as checked refund was successfully initiated on 2022-10-07 of INR 4600 for PayU id 15973615382Please find the needful Bank ARN no. for your reference xyz. Hope this helps.

But Amazon customer care is saying that this id is for Amazon to payu.

Amazon is asking to get transaction I'd for payu to Amazon

I have similar situation where money got deducted from Amazon UPI but not credited to reciving end via billdesk. Billdesk has shared ARN number of refund transaction but Amazon is saying since there's a UPI reference number showing in payment history of the transaction, it's a proof that payment was successful as it is generated at recieving end only. When I told billdesk has shared the ARN number, they said we can't check anything with that. They asked me to get full transaction details from billdesk for the transaction date, I said why will any company share this private info he disconnected the call.

I am also in the same situation, paid to IBPS through BillDesk. Billdesk send me ARN no. Contacted Amazon CC, they disconnected the call twice.

I had a doubt, Amazonpay Wallet UPI is not enabled yet for refund mechanism.

So, i send Rs1 from my bank account to my Amazonpay wallet UPI (@ amazonpay) to check but money is instantly successfully credited to my Amazonpay wallet. 😀

So, i guess manual refund is credit but if transaction failed or refund on same transaction number then i guess Amazon still not enabled auto refund on same transaction number.

Also remember one important thing, You amazon wallet mini kyc limit is 10k, if you already used your Wallet limit then you can't receive refund on same month, next month i guess Amazon need to manually credit your pending amount.

How can NPCI allow this! As per their terms Any UPI app should have dispute mechanism and acceptance for chargeback. They have also mentioned how manual chargeback can be raised with NPCI and reconciled. Amazon has none and provide the worst support incase where refunds are pending for days.

Now that Amazon UPI has become a PSP and Issuer as well the system is less than even half baked and people are having multiple issues of stuck reversals. And most of providers don't follow the RBI policy of TAT.

Contact bank ,mine freecharge transaction once was failed and got refunded according to them so i just called canara bank cs and told everything and within a few days i got the money to my bank account manually added don't know why banks are not processing refunds these days another type of fraud by these guys.
